Sadly, he just looks…well, outdated next to the awesomeness of rotf mindwipe.
I really don’t like a majority of the movie figs but certain molds are just really nice and shouldn’t be avoided by people, even if you despise “dat rotf shit”. Mindwipe & bludgeon molds definitely fall into that category.
personally the only really good looking ones i saw where the mp ones and te universe/classics ones. everything else is pretty much ugly.
somebody made that green and orange autobot (forgot his name, big and with lots of weapons) customized out f rotf ironhide me thinks. shit was looking awesome. but then again, customs > real shit unless its mp.

debating getting this. I dunno why I kept classics hot rod around so long, I really hated the figure (he just looked odd to me). but this add on looks pretty pimp.
Finally received my FP Bruticus upgrade as well. It felt so good temporarily going back in time, reverting into a little child going ape-crazy over a new toy again! His crotch/hip piece kept popping off, but only when I was fiddling around with posing his legs.
I actually really liked that fig. However, its roughly 90 for this. Since MP Hot Rod is more than likely coming to the US, I think I’ll just wait for it instead of getting this add-on. I won’t really ever transform it into Space Winnebago mode. Now with the Targetmaster (FP-Sidearm) at 9.99, I may have to cop that.
I haven’t had any problems with the crotch/waist piece falling off. You have to make sure that the cab of Onslaught’s truck is raised just enough to allow the crotch/waist piece to completely peg in. I would’ve thought that the moving panels would prevent it from popping off every time you moved the legs.
1.) How tall is Bruticus in Robot mode (in inches)? Can someone provide that measurement for me right quick.

You’re probably better off asking question #1 in the toy discussion forum at TFW2005 since there’s a good chance people will have it in hand. I would measure it, but I’m currently at work. And I don’t know of anyone here that either (1) bought set, or (2) currently has it in-hand.
Man, at $9.99, I reserved two of him. And someone on another board had an idea for Prowl being a Targetmaster, so I might do a quick repaint and give him one. I’m sure the name “Peacekeeper” has already been taken, but I think I’m going to make it happen.
Slightly under 13 inches if you count his backpack twin cannons positioned straight upwards. This is all while his legs are not that spread apart. (normal stance)
Slightly more than 10 inches if you just count the height of his feet to the antennas on his head. Although that data is probably useless, as I suspect you are trying to see if he will be able to fit in a shelf display.

Thank you, P.S…height isn’t really an issue for me with how my desk is set up. I was just curious on how tall he was. The issue for me would be more like how much space does he take up with his feet, and which toys I’m going to have to put away to fit him ONTO the desk in the first place. I’ve got some planning to do.

That dude’s talent is just UNREAL. You figured that Hasbro would be chomping at the bit to get him under their employment. Just imagine all the cool figures we could have. Imagine a mass distribution of mid-warp Skywarp.
It’s not that F_R’s talents as a customizer are so great that they put the Hasbro/Takara design and manufacturing teams to shame. I’m sure HasTak has the capabilities to replicate some of the stuff he churns out. It’s just not cost effective for them to mass produce figures with that level of paint detail. Why do that when they can just reuse the same molds again and again for repaints at a fraction of the cost, knowing that people will buy them up regardless?
