I have all first run classics as of today. TRU Prime and Megatron are really, really floppy. Really. Floppy.

Yeah, thatās the 2-pack. I like the posability of the little prime,a nd I love Megatronās transformation. Theyāre just really, really, floppy. And primeās vehicle mode is horrible.
Starscream is pretty close to perfect. Iād prefer a turning head and more arm posability, but itās okay. heās pretty much a perfect Starscream. Bumblebee is the best Bumblebee to date, easily. Hot Rod is pretty much 1986 Hot Rod updated in all the right ways. big Prime is a fun figure and good looking in both modes with good posability (and heavily armed). Nerf Gun Megatron has a fun transformation, is majestic looking in robot mode, and fun to play with in gun mode. I just wish he had a better sense of balanceāall the posability is limited if he canāt stand up. Astrotrainās alt modes are a bit compromised, but he is otherwise perfect. Great robot mode, nice transformation, etc. Very nice figure. Thus far Iām very pleased with the line, and Jetfire looks to be that much better.
Iāll never get it. Every damn time I call TRU, Soundwave is sold out.(*this is on the rare occasion I actually get an answerā¦we all know TRU always just has TWO people working at a store at any given point in the day) Fuck these store-exclusive dealsā¦it just screws over the customer if it happens to be a hot item. Store sells out = NO option for getting it, because that store was your only hope. This is so annoying.
Jetfire is imo the best classic.

There may be hope yetā¦ I think. Basically, the Soundwave rerelease got delayed. I ordered it long ago from the Toys R Us website, and near the supposed release date, I received an email from them saying that the item was delayed.
Also the Soundwave toy is no longer available on the website anymoreā¦ I canāt find it! I think they took it off, or Iām going crazy.
Also, I checked my Toys R Us store regularly, and they never received it yet. So I think it hasnāt been āsold outā, just hasnāt come out yet.

Soundwave is out. My brotherās BBTS order arrived Thursday, heās packaged in tapedeck mode w/Ravage and Laserbeak in their animal modes. They also have the clear cassete holders to go with them, and the box has a nifty fold-in of Soundwave that pops up when you open it.
I guess start checking TRU this week, they might have waited until the week before X-Mas (sounds like TRU) to get them in.
