The Generations Thrust makes me laugh because of the whole Botcon and Gentei (Henkei) exclusives drama between 2007 and 2008. This particular Thrust is said to be based on the Henkei version of the mold, but I think it’s more similar to the Botcon version with seeker missiles. I don’t think it’ll hurt the Botcon version too much, if at all. I’m glad we’ll finally be getting a domestic mass release. My only gripes are the missiles and the white face. Oh well, nothing a missile swap and some paint can’t fix.

I’m laughing because of all the people that are butthurt because of his U.S. release. Hasbro said a long time ago that they might be releasing them stateside, and now everyone has a chance to own him. The Botcon mold is exclusive, so Hasbro is doing nothing wrong. If they don’t paint his face, then I will!

Hasbro doesn’t have enough cool points to manufacture a decent Jazz figure. Which really sucks cause I would drop some dough for a G1-esque hip-hop bot. Drift is bought on spot, though.

'sup people?! Guess what? The wife and I took a trip to Indiana to see her parents for the weekend, turned out to be more eventful than I anticipated.
We decided to go digging in her parents basement looking for some of her old comic book and instead found a bunch of her old G1 Transformers. They were in pretty bad shape but nothing that can’t be fixed with Reprolabels and some replacement Ebay parts. We found:
Shockwave x 2 (both gun arms are busted but I can salvage one to make a whole one)
Hot Rod
Wheeljack
Blurr
Omega Supreme (missing everything but the main tank body)
Jetfire (missing all armor and gun)
Constructicons
Octane
Silverbolt
and two others I can’t identify. Both are Decepticons, one’s a Headmaster that turns into an Alligator. The other are twins. One turns into an eagle and the other turns into a wolf or dog of some sort. Anyways, we brought them home and starting on getting the replacements pieces and stickers they need.
That’s them alright. I’m wondering how difficult this will be to find a replacement head for Skullcruncher?
And I just saw that news that MP Grimlock will be a TRU exclusive. This is awesome but sad news. I was hoping Wal-Mart would pick him up and puit him on clearance soon after release. Oh well.
Headmaster heads sell for about $30-50 on eBay.
Now, about that Jetfire you found. Any interest in selling it? Specifically, I would be looking at it for parts. Are the legs still white? Are they chip free and how are the stickers?
$30-$50.00?!? Damn, looks like that one will have to wait a while.
As for Jetfire, I doubt she’s interested in selling him but the top of the figure is mostly yellow and the back tail fins are missing.
You might be better off buying a complete/mint Skullcruncher and just selling the off the other one or salvaging it for parts.

blaster reissue looks pretty sweet with the 3 cassettes. still have my jp tfc reissue though, so won’t bother me too much if I miss it.

Does anyone not look like a 30 y/o pedo while rummaging through the toy isle? Availability is my main problem. In my experience, TRU exclusives are harder to locate because they don’t usually order the quantity that will make finding this figure easy. Add in the scalper factor x2 and I have a small chance of finding one in stores unless they offer a pre-order.
Not anymore, but good luck offloading it now. Everyone that wants one seems to have it now. I gave achan hers for V-Day and she got pretty excited, she opened it immediately and told me to make room somewhere on my shelf for him (next to Unicron and MP Greenscream). My only gripe is the lack of paint on the arm guns. I’m gonna have to find a reference pic, some purple paint and make some slight alterations. They just look too plain.
So you think Blaster will include more, or less cassettes when released? I would hope they would include all four cassettes, I mean, it’s only a repaint for Christ’s sake. It’s not like Hasbro doesn’t know how to do this already…
Can anyone here recommend a good place for obtaining replacement weapons and parts for G1TF’s besides eBay? I’ll be checking the sale threads on TWF2005.com and Seibertron.com but I’m wondering if there’s a site that specializes in this area? Gonna start piecing together Omega Supreme ASAP.
I think Blaster will have both Rewind and Eject. It just makes sense. I bet they’re gang molded.
