Yeah the Megs and Fallen are from the WW series. Magnus is just his G1 version Im guessing. And yeah, theyre all titanium.
I got Classics Astrotrain and Classics Starscream last night by showing a guy in Target the dcpi numbers and opening the box of em b4 they got put on the shelves.
I think most targets have em in the backroom but wont put em on the shelves till OCt 16.
Anyway Starscream is a true classics. The G1 cartoon animation model come to life. at last a scream that can move his legs , arms. has a normal sized head, and doesnt have 50 easily lost pieces. His nipples, if u rotate them serve as makeshift landing gears to replace the traditional one. his joints are very tight, ,which is great.
Only minor complaint is in robot mode, if the arm cannon kinda pushes the wings back everytime you lift the arm. Otherwise i give him 9/10.
Astrotrain from the pics is the first classics who had a slightly diff mode(the train mde is now a bullet train ) and he is primarily white w/black/purple trim al al the MArvel comic (not the familiar cartoon grey/purple).
The transformation is well done,
2 mild problems :the train nose that is attache dto the forearms slides over them to easily, also the rear part of the train is a little weird(thrusters/folded down wings), but its still pretty good in person. His gun can be stored in either vehicle mode and he has a traditional landing gear.
His joints are good not uber tight as starscream, ,the head is a little diffuclt to pull out sometimes. His face is better detailed imo than starscream.
i give him 8.5/10

What, the nonexistant commemorative series? Whenās the last time a US rerelease was put out under that label? Sideswipe a year and a half ago?

anyway, ,i got classics megatron. My closeby ācollege-ageā Target got em on the shelves. He 's a tad smaller than i thought. Actually depsite the color scheme,(green eyes 
) , he rocks. Prolly the best overall megs figure since Transmetal megatron from bw.

I am contemplating on whether or not I should get the Hasbro rerelease of the Masterpiece Optimus Prime. Itās $90, where as the superior japanese version goes for around 200, at least from what Iāve seen. Obviously the Takara version is better, but is the Hasbro version worth the 90 dollar asking price? I would rather avoid having to spend over a hundred dollars for a Transformer.
Does anyone know if the rerelease of this Optimus is any different from the first initial release? Also will there ever be a Hasbro-released Masterpiece Optimus Trailer?
Itās just that Iāve always wanted the Optimus transformer, but missed out in the past. Any opinions on the material, and features of it would help me out. Iām also trying to research about it on my own.
i dont have the figure , but the collectors say that this primes color is more rorange-red than red and a lot of chrome was removed compared to the 2004 US release. It still has the short smokestacks like the original US one, but no battle damage(black markings) on the torso. This rerelease has a talking voice box of lines from the movie but NOT by Peter Cullen, the orignal G1 actor, its some random guy who sucks.
Imo, its not worth even 70. If i had a lot of flow, id get the new jpn release w/trailer(200 but hey)ā¦

Behold!!! MP Starscream bitches!!! Not exactly what I was expecting due to the 100 dollar price tag. But when you dick around with it, its actually pretty cool. Should have been bigger but the jet mode would have been ridiculously huge.
@PsychoSquall: You should TRY to get the MP Prime that came out with the trailer. Although its about $200, its still worth it. I have the original MP Prime and its still a gorgeous piece of plastic and metal. Definitely worth the $150 dollars. Plus, the smokestacks are not cutoff and the paint job is great. Although next to MP Starscream it looks like an unfair fight. =/
I got my Optimus for only $80 with my employee discount at TRU. Got them in Wed. and only had two so it was only a matter of time before the collectors showed up. Def worth it since he talks. No Peter Cullen but still good. I have yet to decide if I will take him out of the box cause I have the other prime but heās on a closet shelf barely tfed lol. Been there for a lil less than a year now lol
Got the classics yesterday. Prime, Megs, Rodimus, Screamer and Bumblebee. I opened Megs up. Itās nice, took me a while to figure out to convert him back to gun mode but I was watchin Halloween ll at the same time so lol yeah. I like the eyes. My only complaint is that u cant stand him up without bending his waist forward or w/e. With my TRU discount they all came up together to be
Also picked up more of the titanium guys. Got Smokescreen, Bumble and Prime.

I see Takara releasing Skywarp and Thundercracker. Shit, there are three MP Convoys out there now. I still count Ultra Magnus as the third MP Convoy because itās just a repaint really. So three Starscreams and three Convoys. When the hell will we get Megatron? At this point I donāt even care if itās the tank version from G2.
