as a cartoon its shitty as hell, especially if you consider the US can actually make a good cartoon (avatar). as a tf cartoon its just as shitty, you gotta be a big fan to like it.

armada was worse, donāt lie. however, the ending was pretty epic.
My main problem with Armada was the animation. It was rushed because Cartoon Network was putting pressure on them to get the episodes out, which left a lot of the scenes choppy and unfinished. The Japanese version (Micron Legend) was a lot better because it was actually complete.
And I actually like Animated. Too bad itās getting axed after Season 3.

Movie Sideswipe looks fantastic. I really dislike Devastatorās design. Basically, I hate any transformer that has short tiny legs with giant long arms. (unless itās a gorilla or something)
I suppose he could be a neat King Kong-type of obstacleā¦

Yeah, it is. Itās an interesting re-telling of the mythos. Lots and lots of fan-wank in there as well. You just have to approach the cartoon with an open mind. I hated it at first, but I found myself tuning into to see it more and more.
same here. plus I am not really digging his head, its just an ugly cylinder with a face at the end for some reason. it looks too big and ruins the look of it even more. the detail is nice though. and it isnāt very often that we get a TF of this size so I will be getting it sometime. but it will most likely go the route of Ultimate Bumblebee and clog the clearance racks for a while
God, that Devastator is truly horrific. But then again, this is Bayās little TF world heās living in so I never expected any of the characters to look anything like they should.
Megatron (G1) made an appearance on Family Guy last night, and yes it was Frank Welker doing the voice.
Ep name was Oceanās Three and a Half, he appears right before the credits.

Thereās no official word from Hasbro, but itās become more and more likely that Animated is done after Season 3. Some of the upcoming toys have been cancelled as well. This is a relief to some people and a disappointment to others.
As many of you know, I supported Animated both as a show and toyline. And Iām especially bothered by the latter since Iām a collector.

Not surprised in the slighest by this announcement. Hasbro is going to do what they did to the other TF lines before the first movie came out - cancel them all and concentrate on shoveling more move garbage onto the shelves.
Sorry. Iām still bitter after them cancelling Alternators.
But Animated seemed to do pretty well for itself - at least better than I thought it would. Seemed like the kids really went bonkers for it.

While Iām disappointed about Animated possibly ending, Iām more concerned about Universe getting the axe because of ROTF. Hasbro already announced the line would go on hiatus. And while I loved the first movie, I donāt think itās right to cancel other lines to forcefeed another. That just eliminates the variety and the number of choices a consumer has on the shelf.
