BotCon 2009’s locale is Pasadena, CA if you hadn’t heard. Should make all you West-coasters pretty happy… The room rates are pretty high for the “official” hotel though, and apparently all the good rooms have sold out.
Rumor is that the toys are having a “War Dawn” theme, with characters like Ariel, Orion Pax, and a young Kup. shrug
I was just going to post this information but you beat me to it. Anyways, achan and I (with mini-mech in tow)are going to be attending on the 29th or 30th, so if anyone here plans on attending ahem Khaotika, Satomiblood or PsychoSquall then we need to get together and geek out.
It’s gonna blow my son’s lil’ mind. Because of me, he absolutely loves Transformers (especially TF Animated). I just have to make sure I some money saved up so he doesn’t get too disappointed that he can’t buy everything he sees. :looney:
Damn, I’d really love to go. We shall see.
it’s unfortunate that Botcon this year interferes with two other things I wanted to go to, but oh well. BotCon it is.
Something else I’ve been working on. I took Fracture (a repaint of Classics Mirage) and repainted it to look like Crasher from the Gobots. I even have her a melee weapon. The paint still needs to be touched up, but it’s done for the most part.

I like your version better than the official release! I think they went with the colors they used because there is an official Russian race car with that color scheme. The way you did yours is how I wanted it to be in the first place.

Oh last night I bought this Transformers Generations galvtron figure. good buy. my collection will be dope this year. I just know.
I have that original grimlock figure 1st gen. my uncle gave it to me. the only thing wrong with it is that his head snapped off so it doesn swivel. 
I don’t believe the original Grimlock had a swiveling head. I’m pretty certain it was stuck facing forward.
