And this is exactly the reason why I stopped watching Season 3. Ugh.
That game I downloaded is pretty fun now. It’s definitely more challenging than I thought it would be. If anyone else has downloaded it and wants to give it a try, I actually wrote (it’s in the process) an FAQ because I can’t find any information at all on this game.
Course, I’m not really buying a lot of Transformers lately, think I’m almost over them, lol. I’ve been trying to justify $100 for MP Thundercracker while in my head I’m going “it’s a repaint, but it’s a seeker” over and over.
I’ve already sold off most of my Armada/Energon/Cybertron/Beast Machines/Universe/R.I.D., probably going to get rid of a bit more after that.
I know I’m not going to have the same enthusiasm for TF when I get older, but I think I’ll keep the higher end lines like Masterpiece and Binaltech as mementos of the hobby.
Right, and it’s more of a quality > quantity thing as well, you only have so much time/space to devote to them. Hell, I have stuff I haven’t looked at in years just sitting in the boxes. Liokaiser demands freedom!
On a bizarre note, I feel like the middle of a Megatron sandwich, rofl. (I need a Starscream nametag…)
pokes Brian :wgrin: lol @ the Happy Meal toy comment.
I bit the bullet and got myself Henkei Thundercracker/Skywarp
Oh, and to anyone that’s interested, I posted a few things on eBay (link).
It’s not much, but there’s a MISB Titanium Prowl and all 3 Armada Seekers. I’ve decided to narrow the focus of my TF collection down to Classics 2.0/Henkei, Masterpiece, Binaltech, Animated, Revoltech, and some choice G1’s.
Yea, I like the Botcon version better even though I don’t own it, but this one will be cheaper and it’s better than nothing.
I’m holding out hope that Hasbro will release a slight repaint of these under the Universe line. I realize that these are Japanese exclusives and they’ll never be mass released here in the states, but just like they’ll be re-releasing Starscream as a Universe recolor, perhaps Dirge, Thurst, or even Thundercracker will get that type of treatment.
I think fans that don’t necessarily have the desire, much less the funds, to pick up a Botcon or Gambo exclusive would be okay with a slight redeco for the Universe line.
damn it, ill have to borrow my lil sis’s nokia n95 to to play it if it works on it. still havent tried it on my own samsung d600, but im pretty sure it wont work on it. the site from the game showed the game being played on the n95 screen so im just assuming that it would work on that model.
A friend messaged me the other day, describing how he geeked out when he saw the 25th Annivarsary rerelease of G1 Prime in Wal-mart. I didn’t think much of it, at the time. Probably due to seeing so many rereleases of it in the past.
But then when I actually saw it at Fred Meyers (on sale for 70) I also geeked out. I think it was because of the cool packaging. It comes with a dvd of the Robots in Disguise G1 cartoon episodes I believe, an old Marvel comics TF issue, and an Autobot emblem that plays TF sounds and Optimus quotes which sounded like Peter Cullen. (not like the US rerelease of MP Prime!)
I’ve beaten Story Mode and I’m working on Showdown currently but this second mission is kicking my ass. I’m trying to figure out how to beat all the Decepticons with only Smokescreen, Sideswipe, Sunstreaker and Prowl. If fucking Trypticon wasn’t deploying more 'Cons so damn quickly I could end this shit.
I remember geeking out when I saw the TRU exclusive reissues and I wanted them then but never had the money to get them. Even if I saw the new 25th version, nothings making me spend $70.00 on that. Somehow a crappy voicebox, a reprinted comic book and 2 episide DVD are worth another $35.00?
Oh, yeah. Did you guys hear about the Grimlock Masterpiece coming out soon? I’m probably late to the party, but I don’t check this thread out enough. =/
