crap.
I guess the shockwave mold is lost for good.

Holy shit, too good.

Binaltechs, Hotrod, & Omega Supreme Released In Japan

So who here is getting an MP Thundercracker?

~

Man, I have to tell you that landing Animated figures in PA has been a bitch. So many of the Targets and Walmarts in our area (not exclusively I know) have pegs upon pegs of movie toys that they just aren’t selling so there’s obviously a limit on how much Animated they can put out at one time. Luckily, this guy I know from TFW2005 has been hooking me up since he drives around hunting for figures. So far I have:

Deluxe Prime (clean version)
Voyager Bulkhead
Bumblebee
Prowl
Ratchet
Jazz
Soundwave
Grimlock
Snarl
Starscream
Voyager Megatron (Cybertron)
Lockdown
Oilslick
Blackarachnia

I’ll be getting MP Cracker.

It’s odd though, out of all the stuff I have, Alternators and Masterpiece toys are the ones I like least. I think it’s that I just never really get to handle them on account of how delicate they actually are.

Oh, and about the Animated stuff, just give it a bit of time. This is a main line release. Believe me, shelves will be overflowing with it in 2 months. Don’t pay a premium on any of it.

Two days…

I finished packing the last of my TFs yesterday. Most of the shelves and figures go up Saturday night and Sunday afternoon. Ikea gets a visit next weekend for more shelf units and that should do.

I’ve only paid retail on Animated.

I’m looking forward to seeing this new display that your designing. Sounds very time consuming.

I’ll probably pass on Thundercracker. If I’m getting any MP Seeker again it’s Skywarp.

And I’ve yet to see anything from the animated line in stores so far. Not that I’m really looking but I do pass by that pathetic TF movie line and it’s just overflowing from the pegs and shelves now.

I realize it’s a year old, but the thought of releasing a Titanium Shockwave, Bumblebee, and Cosmos would’ve been sweet. Despite Titanium’s quality issues.

I was supposed to be in that tour and there was a mess up with my paperwork.

That was kind of a downer in an otherwise insane weekend.

I dunno yet, he looks A LOT like olive Screamer (speaking in colors) I did get Skywarp but… I dunno… I crave anime MP Screamer more…

That collector guy that hooks me up with figures was telling me how he was at a Walmart 2 weeks ago when the PS3/MGS4 bundle was supposed to come out. Walmart had this $100 giftcard/rebate going on with it, but it wasn’t in stock or something. The manager of the electronics department yells at him and everyone in line that night: ā€œGo home! Walmart doesn’t want your money!ā€

I’d say your friend is full of shit then. Of course Wal-Mart’s wants your money… along with your soul.

I’m getting him as well. I’ve already had that internal debate about spending another $100 on a mold repaint vs. seeker group completion, because it isn’t like we didn’t know it was already coming. I’m just going to go ahead and do it while I have the money.

I had to cancel my preorder for omega supreme :shake::sad::shake:
I need to save up for a while. no way am I canceling my metroplex preorder though

Well, we’ve come across employees that don’t seem to understand the value of customers willing to give them their business. Like that lady that castigated him for taking all the TF figures away from the kids.

Sixshot: I’d get the Walmart Screamer. The 20th Anniversary Prime is decent, but it’s no MP-04. The smoke stacks are super short and I heard there’s an issue with the legs, which makes him difficult to pose outside of the box and without the stand. So yea, save up for a MP-04 because it’s better quality plus you get an awesome transforming trailer too.

I read that as ā€œI have cancer for omega supremeā€.

Omega is a cooler toy. Plus, if you get one, we can race them.

Starscream.

Because you should really only get a Takara release of MP Convoy. The US releases are just substandard (and I am absolutely not a Takara dick-rider on quality issues).

I think the red paint is better and more toon accurate than the DVD version, which is a cross between ketchup and orange (comparatively lighter than Takara’s).

But if you want a better look, the MP gallery on Seibertron.com should be pretty helpful. They usually do side by side comparison shots.

A snipe is better than a shill though…

I’d only say Wal-Scream because I don’t have one, I have Green-Scream. I like MP04US. I’ve had no problems at all, short smokes, legs and all. Mine has no problems standing or being posed so it may be a case-by-case kinda’ thing. I can’t vouch for those crappy looking 25th Ann. MP04.

…but if you have the money to get the version w/trailer, get that mother fucker. Pronto.

Same here. While I’d rarther buy the Takara versions over Hasbro’s, I just don’t have that kind of money. When Binaltech came out, I knew I wanted all of these over the Alternators because of the die-cast construction. But $50.00-$60.00 for each one is out of my range. I’m just a po’ white boy who already has had to pass up many-a $20.00 Alternators like Hound, Swerve and others goddammitmotherfucker… gah!

That’s why I hate Ebay sometimes. If not the snipers, then it’s the shill bidders.

I had this freaky dream that I attended a TF con with SixShot, Daidoji and Saotomi. You guys had no faces, you were just like these floating souls who were walking next to me buyimng a bunch of TF stuff. The I turned into Cyclonus, flew off and ditched you guys with no way home.

Is there something wrong with me? :wtf:

You know, I keep dreaming these ideas up for kitbashes in my sleep. Like, the idea for a Revoltech Jazz. It’s actually quite helpful.

Btw, I haven’t given up on that custom I posted back in April. I just need to stop being lazy.
