I love the leader class Optimus movie toy. It was definately worth the money. Now I have to paint the grey parts with chrome paintā¦
Judging from that movie clip on the Tonight Show, Iām hoping they explain why the Autobots need to hide in Spikeās backyard when theyāre robots that are renowned for changing into things. A cool clip nonetheless.
Well I quit hating on the new movie after I saw the first real trailer, but I havenāt been keeping updated with the toys or really any of it except new footage. I was in Wal-Mart tonight though, and I knew the toys were out so I went to check. To be honest most of these figures look kinda cheap. Some of the cars inparticular. I havenāt seen the robot modes in person so I canāt really comment on them, but Jazz and Bumblebeeās car modes looked like something Fisher Price put out.
I really wanted to buy at least one from the new line though. I was going to get either Ironhide or Starscream because I thought they both looked cool, but then, on the bottom shelf hidden behind a row of Bumblebee Unleashed figures I spotted a leader class Megatron. Some guy on a cell phone went for it right as I did, but either I was too quick or he was too fat. It was the last one too. I havenāt liked Megatronās design from the start, but I hadnāt seen the toy until tonight and I think itās awesome. I hope the movie Megatron looks better once I see him in action because this guy is badass. Although much bigger, the overall style kinda reminds me a little of Beast Wars Transmetals 2 Dinobot, which was one of my favorites. I already know I want Prime too, but they didnāt have any.

And yea, I like Movie Megs, especially as heās drawn in the comic book. Donāt know if you read the Prequel, but hereās a scan from one of them -
Nah I havenāt read them yet. I just havenāt had much time lately, but Iām doing some catching up right now. See, he looks cool there. I think itās all the silver / chrome that makes me not like what Iāve seen from him in CGI. Iām just not a fan of too much of one color really unless itās black and I donāt like silver to start with. Have any new, clear movie shots of him surfaced yet? Whatās the deal with the comic prequel, those and the prequel novel are the same story I guess?
Edit: Just found some screencaps of Megatron. He looks alright. Definitely alot better than those early images. Itās gonna be hard to say until I see the movie though.
I hope the game is good even though the odds are against it.
I havnt read the novelās, so I wouldnt know. But Iām sure itās the same story. The Prequel comics are focused on Bumblebee.
Zor, the thing that does Bumblebeeās car mode in, is the painted windows.
thereās a Japanese version with clear windows that looks loads better.
anyway, the only movie toys I have are Barricade and Bumblebee (I like the Deluxe Class, personally, but will venture as high as Voyager Class, if thereās a figure [Like Blackout] That I really want.)
Barricade is a fantastic figure, and Bumblebee looks MUCH cooler when heās transformed.
^Yeah Iām going to have to get Blackout.
Megatron from teh comic book looks WAY more better than the all chrome look they gave him in the movie. He makes āsinceā in duo-tone. As is now he just looks like a random collection of organic metal.

I picked up Alt Wheeljack today. While I LOVE the design, some of the parts pop out a little too easily. Also, I dunno how, but somehow the rear got scratched up during the initial transformation. :bluu: And the instruction booklet was of NO help whatsoever - I pretty much had to figure out the transformation on my own.
But, it is a very, very good looking toy. I honestly canāt choose between which looks better - the car or the robot.
My 20th Anniversary Primeās left arm got scratched (DEEP) during the initial transformationā¦most people donāt notice it, but damn if it aināt annoying to me.
1)I am watching Transformers G1,and it is pretty good,but they make StarScream out to be a bitch so far.In Transformers Armada he was badass,had a great voice,and was powerful.
2)Are you guys being those Hasbro Models you see on TV or some other kind of Toy Models?How much do they cost?
I think thatās what put me off from buying B3 - those windows painted purple are an annoying design. I picked up Barricade a few weeks ago, and I like him. Next Iām going to get Leader Class Prime and Wreckage (if I can ever find him), then I want to find that new figure called Dropkick.
Some of the video-game characters are turning out to have better designs than the main movie characters themselves!

But as I was trying to transform Onslaught and co. into Bruticus I accidentally cracked one of his legs. Should be fixable but needless to say, I was not happy.
Now I gotta transform my KISS Prime back into a truck, just so MP Megs can join BT Shockwave and MP Starscream on my desktop.
