I only did Pulse due to free shipping with a Premium membership and I wanted Breakdown and Megatron.
Interestingly enough, I already had Skyquake and Dreadwing on display. I need to get more Autobots, but outside of Prime, don’t really care for the molds. I am sure Knockout will skyrocket in price now.
Passing on all the Beast Wars stuff. G1 is my one love, yo. Especially as someone always trying to keep the numbers reasonable in my collection. More for you guys then. Unless they release someone exceptionally cool. For example, i thought i was going to pass on all the weaponizer guys but i had to have sixgun.
PaleoTrex is a pretty interesting addition to the line. That said, the weaponizers are a great play pattern. I have COG to go with Magnus and Brunt for Trypticon. Knowing I’ll use another bot’s head for a weapon makes me laugh.
Not sure. They didn’t show a full 360. I know the MP does.
If you think that’s impressive, wait till you see the one they release in 2024 (and 2028 and so on). Of all the bots they could redo YET again, do we really need another screamer?
We’re long overdue for a New Rodimus that doesn’t have dollar-store quality plastic, and a cleaned up transformation.
Takara’s in a stride right now. It’ll be at least a decade before they even redo the Seekers. We have at least six characters that will use this mold.
Now I agree that Hot Rod / Rodimus Prime needs a redo. MP09 was a decent design for the time but the quality of the first run is terrible and MP-28 is has a washboard as a chest. If they just fixed that part it would have been ok. I hope they do consider redoing that character.
Yeah, horsecrap. I’d give it 8 yrs tops before a “New NEW, Betterier Seeker” mold comes out. Ya know, right after they redo MP Prime and Megs for the zillionth time.
Edit: And MP Jazz will STILL be nowhere to be found lol.
I’d bet my spark you’re wrong on that . The only thing that’ll be better is if it doesn’t transform or they go a more “realistic” route via a new line.
. . . . and MP Jazz is a licensing issue because Porsche wants to make things silly. Hopefully since VW Group has them and that Lamborghini and VW have official pieces, there is some hope.
The add on kit with the Brunt recolor is decent, but I’ll be honest, I am happy for $20. At $30, I’d have been a bit disappointed. This is something they could do more of. This can get even better if they did it with the blast effects.
The one cool thing is that Prime’s trailer can store a fair bit of the items.
