To that i say, eat a dick hasbro. For selling us the same characters back-to-back, and their “strategically placed” storyline set-up as an excuse to do so.

I question more so the fact that we have a tape player as an alt mode in the year 2020. I honestly feel this is gonna be the last massive push for G1 2.0. Everything after this is gonna be stylized or they’ll be moving into other homages (e.g., Armada, RID2000).

Fire Convoy is my personal favorite version of Prime with a Super-Mode.
It was also my first imported Transformer.
EDIT - Now thinking about it, it may have been one of the first things that I ever bought online.

Naaa, just the market. It comes in waves. You also gotta remember that the fans of those other series are now at the age a fair bit of us were when the first CHUG line started. Besides, it’s not as big of a deal for me. I have the MP line to meet my G1 needs.
Tbh, I’m quite surprised that Hasbro is selling a toy in mainstream stores that converts to a tape player.
Even my super G1 fanboy self is watching Halley’s Comet pass by.

Exactly. This is the last time we will see this within the decade (outside of a repaint).
I looked to see if somebody had made a KO Soundwave except he’s a record player, but alas nothing. No 8-track version either. Ugh.

Well I cancelled my Ironhide/Prowl order. Amazon didn’t have enough supply and I don’t know how long I’d have to wait.
But I was blessed today. Went into Walmart and saw a dude looking at a large transformer box and he put it down. Upon closer inspection it was a Doubledealer.
Now I’m happy again. Whew.

I’ll admit that if you are in for the the CHUG scale, this is the one to get. The POTP release is trash now. MP-28 is the only figure in the MP line that I actually regret. MP-09 looks better on practically every front. This image says it all.

Ractonite has my attention just because of how extremely unique it is.
The release of the SS86 Line give me hope that Season 3 MPs are on the way.
