$2,000… for THAT?! And i thought MP-44’s price was a rip-off.

Saw that vid the other day. Statues aren’t my cup of tea, but I get why people like them.

it brings up an interesting debate. Is it still a Transformer if it can’t transform?

Has anyone seen SIEGE Ratchet at their local Walgreens?

I’ve been looking since Halloween 2019 and I’ve haven’t seen him at all.

I was able to find the Brainstorm and clone 2 pack easily in the last few years but this one is eluding me lol.

I have looked for it randomly. I don’t have any intent to get it, but just like to see what’s out there. If I find it, I’ll let you know.

Rumor: Bumblebee 2 and Beast Wars films in development!

Do you still need him? I swear I’ve seen him nearby, but just haven’t cared enough to pick him up.

Is there any list of actually excellent BotBots? There are so many and yet so few seem to be great.

OK, verified that he’s still at the local Walgreens. I hid him behind some Shockwaves just in case you were still looking.

I think I asked this some time ago but I don’t remember what suggestions I got.

What are some budget G1 Optimus Prime(or alt colors like ultra magnus or nemesis, quite like the shattered glass version honestly, am fine without the trailer) toys comparable to MP level of articulation and accuracy? Online bidding sites seem to have some prebuilt MP’s, but I don’t know if they are Chinese counterfeits or not, and I wouldn’t want to get any recent shipment from China right now.

With the official molds.

Budget Friendly = KO

The only MP figures that are sub MSRP are the Takara seekers. Most others have pretty much held their value.

That said, for Prime, you have two third party options. Magic Square MS-01 and Transform Element TE-01. One of my favorite TF reviewers did a comparison between the two.

Personally, if I was to choose, I think the MS figure does it better overall. There is a metallic version so that may fit your fancy. The TE figure looks off. The sculpt reminds me of those PVC transformers you find in Walmart.

I do think both MS and TE have color variants of Prime.

At the end of the day, Takara’s MP-44 is where it’s at though. The difference between MP-10 and MP-44 is staggering.

Whoa, even third party ones are expensive even if they are made in China. Any option for sub $80?

Hi Preppy,
Sorry for not writing back earlier. I actually made arrangements with a guy from my area to get one I’m good. But thanks anyway!

$130 for something like the MagicSquare version is far preferable to Takara’s own release which tips the scales at over $400.

Want a ā€œbudgetā€ Masterpeice Prime? The Power of the Primes Optimus release was really Good for a mainline prime. I have this guy and he’s pretty neat.

The MS figure is personally the best option if you are going for MP but would like a more updated look at Prime. POTP is a solid figure on its own, I just wish it didn’t have so much gray.

@Dangerous_J @Optimus124

I’m sorry. I love you
