This Faux âLeaderâ class stuff is one of my few complaints about the otherwise Amazing Siege line-up. Shockwave was pretty cool despite it though, and this Astrotrain looks like a sweet G1 2.0 version too.

I kinda waited on the Siege line because i was temporarily in collecting retirement at the time. When i got around to getting Shockwave he was already discounted. And i dunno about you guys but, i think Shockwaveâs New âSuper-Modeâ with the four arms & cannon feet is pretty neat. Heâs like a walking cannon platform or something.
It will be in the MP line. It will likely destroy your wallet.

I donât necessarily disagree but I generally still like it. Truth is that you canât really do a lot of the G1 cast without some cheating. We are at least guaranteed a Cliffjumper using that mold (or some slight retool of it). I think itâs the fact that Takara has been nailing the MP line so well and this falls significantly short both in look and in cost. I will say though that this:

The arms look cleaner and itâs nice to have a good looking matrix on a non MP figure.
However I still like SIEGE robot mode a bit better.
Also ,it would have been nice to include Roller.
The vehicle mode seems to be the main selling point of this toy.

That trailer just looks terrible. Like you said, the vehicle mode is the seller here. Iâm pretty much going to have to see this in person and on-sale to be pushed towards picking it up.

Just when that spiffy as hell, 35th Anniversary, âCel-shadedâ Prime (and minus the obnoxious weathering effects) got me to grab Siege Prime. Now we get this. Hmmmm.
Edit: I definitely love the colors of 35th Siege Prime over this ER Prime.
