I only really play conquest though.

One good thing, capped Prime Mode last night. Really wasn’t that bad with the 2x exp weekend.
Also energon battle pistol is GDLK. Fucking underrated weapon x1000. With leader/rage its one of the nastiest ways to fuck someone up in close combat…and it can snipe. I’ve been having a lot of success with leader/energon battle pistol/ion/disruption/warcry…with the added upgrades on disruption/warcry and the extra ammo clip. Seems like a really solid build.

AvP sucked asshole. Seriously, I played all the AvP games (even the Jaguar one), and this was by far the worst. The multiplayer seemed to take away from previous games, while giving the predator that new jumping ability. All in all, terrible game (especially when the classes aren’t balanced, and you could end up in some HORRIBLY OP matchups.

Blur I am shocked by, but I guess most people prefer Mario Kart lol.

Transformers I think caught people off guard. They definitely need to make a sequel, and pimp the FUCK out of it

Out of curiousity, what WOULD you guys like to see for a sequel?

Definitely would like to see G1, waaaaaaaay more mp levels (especially ones on EARTH), more escalation levels (and depth), and a deeper MP customization

Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan…

  • The Transformers fan in me wants extra vehicle forms, but the gamer in me understands the balance of the four classes. HOWEVER, let’s have more models of each class. Three’s just too few. Let’s also get some G1, Bayformer, Animated, and Unicron Trilogy models.

  • And on that, I don’t mind if we just get models again. Now that I understand that the customization is more toward gameplay than looks, I can forgive lack of ‘pieces’ and limited coloring choices.

  • Splitscreen and system link for Primus sake.

  • Drifting for cars.

  • An option to forgo your second robot weapon to get an extra firing mode for vehicle mode. Give people the option to be more vehicle oriented.

  • An option to drop two whole classes to have a triple-changer.

  • Faction preferences so you end up Autobot/Decepticon more often. It would be weighted lightly as I understand teams are balanced for number of players and such.

  • OR, have a progressive faction war (similar to Transformers DS, MAG, Lost Planet 2) where you choose your faction and fight battles that effect daily/weekly/monthly standings of ‘domination’. The actual games would be randomly chosen competitive modes.

  • Multiplayer maps on Earth, and the Planet of Junk.

  • The Scientist’s final killstreak makes no sense to me. Here I am essentially a support, hit and run class… and my last killstreak is weapon that grounds me (albeit hilariously powerful). I usually just give it to my dedicated Tank bud - and so I firmly believe Tanks should have Nucleon Cannon as a final killstreak.

  • Scientists in turn should get a move where they drop powerful bombs while in jet mode, “Bombing Run”. This fits the concept of the Scientist class better, I believe. The bombs themselves should be at least as strong as flak grenades with added range. During this time your missiles are not available.

  • Leaders also have a fairly lame killstreak. I mean, it works in a chaotic way, but Leaders seem to denote a more tactical approach from what their abilities suggest. Their final killstreak should be a warcry type radial buff-debuffer that powers up allies and weakens surrounding enemies. Essentially Warcry and MB combined. It would really be a tide turner and fit the concept of Leaders more accurately.

  • Thermo Mine Respawner could get lost in time for all I care. Just terrible. It would have a spiritual successor in Scientists “Bombing Run” anyway.

That first “want” will never happen, in the way you realize it. That’s an art direction thing. However, from the DLC, Scattershot and Demolisher are from the Unicron Trilogy, but “reimaginened”. That would be as close as you would get. So the chances of a "MovieVerse styled Optimus Prime appearing in this game are slim to none. Prime’s already there so why make another. I do think that a total of 5 per class would vary up what you see. Hell I don;t understand why they didn’t use the cannon fodder models.

Triple changers will have to be carefully done. I mean, who wouldn’t be Blitzwing :lol:

I like your other ideas though. A lot of people are talking about the war cry radial buff by kill streak. That would make team play more destructive and promote it.

I just want more models, regardless of where they come from. Three is ridiculous, considering the huge pool of models within the franchise.

I agree on nucleon cannon nerf on scientist.
All their other killstreak bonuses are based on healing, their 3rd one should be something along those lines also, maybe like a nuclear healy bomb or something that would cover a radius for 10-15 seconds. Seems more fitting. The flight/bomb thing could work too. Soldier should definitely get nucleon, although gihad missile is a bit fun :rofl:

Indeed. I found the turning in the game to be TERRIBLE. It felt like you were on rails whenever you are in vehicle mode.

I stated that awhile back. I really wish there was more of a reason to be a vehicle. Why not give me more than just one vehicle ability, or maybe pick from abilities (like I can in robot mode)?

indeed. I always thought the soldier and the jet should switch 7 kill streaks. Hell, gimme options like Modern Warfare 2.

If you play AI jets, watch the bombing run attack they have. Something similar would have been nice.

meh, I like Thermo Mine. The best is when you don’t just spawn them EVERYWHERE like most idiots. Get a 7 kill streak, then engage a ton of enemies, and start dropping mines THEN. I do like the uber buff/debuff idea too. Should affect all enemies and players on the level, not just AoE.

I also felt the Scout got fucked over on killstreak rewards. Two of them are almost identical, and as soon as you kill an enemy, they are no longer affected by it.

Turrets on levels would have been nice too, rather than campaign only.

Unicron end boss would be badass.

More vehicle abilities would be cool, drifting could be one of them (perhaps creating a new pool of ‘vehicle maneuver’ abilities). More stunts for jets and such.

How would any of you feel about being a Transformer with a vehicle mode large enough for one other player to ride in?

If this is to be a G1-Prequel, Unicron couldn’t show up at least not in campaign mode. It would have to be like the first encounter with the Borg in Star Trek: TNG. Someone gets hyperspaced to the other edge of the universe and battles Unicron and comes back to forewarn of his existence. However, how could you Battle with a Planet. This is one case where only a Prime can defeat him anyway.

How many overshields are there per map. I can across a team of 4 with Overshield once?

one of the killstreaks gives everybody overshields. And most maps have 1 or 2 overshields.

I was kinda disappointed that all the jets could do is roll. No loops? Even banshee’s in Halo have that ability :frowning:

Also, like I said, I would enjoy difference in the vehicles. Why not be able to choose a weapon (ie Jets with either missiles, or machine guns) for your vehicle?

Also, I think the next game won’t be a G1 prequel

Yeah, jets need more than just a barrel roll.

With the vehicle weaponry, it’s a balance thing in all honesty.

With the spoiler, how is that not a G1 prequel element. That’s pretty much where the first show starts off. Now there will be liberties taken on it, but the premise is there. They don’t have to go to Earth “tomorrow” and building can take as long as Hasbro wants it to.

How profitable it is to keep making games

Remember, there was that rivalry between Optimus and Megatron that was mentioned in the campaign, but not really fleshed out. There is story that can go between the end of WFC and the travel to Earth. Think about Episode III. It ended with the Death Star looking like the one in ROTJ, however in that time, you also have The Apprentice (AKA Starkiller) show up in The Force Unleashed, which has also been adopted as canon

one of the best uses for the mine respawner is using it at the spawn points then running away, lol.

funniest shit in the game. your team will go on to clear a point or something, they enemy will respawn at a clear spawn area, then you just see BOOM +50 +50 +50

The G1 accounts that Megatron fooled Optimus (then Orion Pax) into helping his early insurrection campaign. Bayformers had Megatron and Optimus as “brothers” who managed Cybertron together. IDW says they didn’t meet until after Megatron killed Zeta [Sentinel] Prime. Not sure how WfC-verse will explain it. Speaking as a writer, it was a bad move putting more questions in the ‘prequel’ of the franchise, especially if Hasbro’s gonna use it as cannon. Everything pre-Earth wars should have been explained fully.

It was cool seeing how the whole Megatron/Starscream dynamic started.

I agree we could get some stories out between leaving Cybertron and crashing on Earth.

i guess the major problem is WHICH canon storyline do they follow? Seems that each show, comic, movie, and game, are all different, with regards to what happened during the Cybertron days (the game uses Dark Energon corrupting Cybertron, while the comics stated that it was knocked out of its orbit, while the cartoon ALSO changes shit).

In the cartoon continuity, he basically scrapped him. This made Alpha Trion rebuild Orion Pax to Optimus Prime.

This continuity is closer to the IDW comics version, however some of these details may have been fleshed out in some of the One Shots, which I kinda missed out on
