I wish I could get another Tech slot or something when I hit a certain level. My 'Swipe is fast approaching lvl. 30 and it sucks having to swap out Tech and decide what I wanna keep and what I wanna unequip…

You’ve gotta get to Magnus and Prime difficulty to get to the higher ranked weapons.

Just using a low level freeze machine gun with Defect level 5 on it, shoot a couple of heads and easy SS.

I feel like Sidewipe is pretty low tier. He doesn’t have any unique actions, just his unique vehicle speed and decent damage on vehicle attacks. It doesn’t hold a candle to Bumblebee or Grimlock, and actually I’d bet even Wheeljack if you just go almost pure shooting with him
If you want to shoot, you might as well just stick with Bumblebee.
Wheeljack’s range attack stat is like 1.5 times higher than bumblebee’s, so yeah, it’s way higher. Granted, I do still think Bumblebee is a better option overall than Wheeljack is, but I’m just surmising that Wheeljack’s gun damage may keep him pretty viable
It’s just that…the shield sucks. Bee has the slide. Hell, Sideswipe has the teleport - Wheeljack is nothing but his ranged stat.
I mean, 'Jack is still my favourite though, but it really feels like playing Bumblebee is EZ mode.
Yeah, I do agree, I can’t see how his shield is any good. It’d be cool if it could be activated quickly and in short bursts and maybe had a just defend option that gave better rewards than a standard parry or something, but nope. =/
Seems you can also buy SS rank weapons in the shop playing through Prime.
I don’t think Sideswipe is that bad once you get him leveled up, though I’ve yet to play with Bumblebee so my perception may change; he looks like a ton of fun. I will say that I can definitely feel Prime’s weight in comparison to 'Swipe; had my little dude last night and he wanted me to play as him lol…I’ve got a few decent weapons farming with Sideswipe so he already hits like a - dare I say it - Mack truck.

Sideswipe in all honesty fairs better than most of the lot. That teleport has a ton of uses. His speed is amazing, and isn’t a slouch with a good bit of the other stats. Still, Prime is my main, but SS is a close #2
