Yooooo, Grimlock has AIRGRABS. You can only do them after launching hits but I think it can be any launcher, whether from a strong or a Dino attack.
If you do it in Robot mode he tosses them down, and you can follow up with hold Strong to get whatever weapons helmbreaker you have on em. If you do it in Dino mode, he does a Zangief style UC2(I don’t know wrestling move names), it’s fucking AWESOME
Was playing this game with my idiot friend, got frustrated enough to turn it off. He’s sitting there punching those shield decepticons on like the first level, when it keeps telling him what to do. Every single vehicle combo attack, he failed. I tried the game for like 10 minutes, I failed it zero times, you have to literally be retarded to fail that shit repeatedly like him. I hate button mashing idiots like my friend. Devastator’s Drills seems to be a simple Knuckle weapon, until you charge it up… Then that Drill becomes a projectile that PIERCES THE HEAVENS, er, goes through enemies and does multiple hits…
Gestalts and the big Ground Soldiers get straight up bodied by this thing.
Grappling Hook is just what you need to deal with Seekers… Snatch 'em out of the air, and yell, “GET OVER HERE” like you’re Scorpion.
Starscream’s Null Ray was just the appetizer… Soundwave’s Sound Blaster puts anyone it hits in the yellow stun, allowing for extended combos.

I think whats actually happening is shots that are able to cause hitstun do it. I’m pretty sure I’ve gotten vehicle attacks from non headshot sniper shots tons of times. Though that was always mid combo, after a vehicle attack
Additionally, getting though followup shots is really difficult versus enemies with hyper armor, like bonecrusher.

Man, there are so many weapons to experiment with. Once you learn how Synthesis works, you can create some serious mayhem. The only skill I don’t get is defect, what exactly does that do?

Looking through this weapon setup, I see so many calls back to both G1 and to the comics. I got an A ranked dual submachine gun. Thing looks like Generation 2 Sideswipe’s Guns.
The more I play this game, especially on higher difficulties, you appreciate it more. Challenge #2 was the one that made me realize how awesome this is. Fighting as Optimus Prime with all 6 Constructicons, wiping each of their faceplates with the trailer. The trailer gets more use in this game than the entirety of G1. This game is like living an episode of the cartoon.
Yeah, I don’t get that either? I’ve been putting in WORK with SideSwipe so far, haven’t touched the other Autobots…but I plan to…a LOT #RoboHomo…I LOVE this Synth system, I keep playing and playing just to get drops to synthesize the fuck out of.
The combat in this game is fucking addicting as fuck all too; I’m having a blast figuring out new ways of murkin’ Decepticons!
