t rex could have worked easily. have them throughout the movie as vehicles. Have grimlock say something in the beginning of the movie like "this form sucks, " as witty banter with say ironhide when they are walking in right before they talk about optimus angry. Then , in the fight in chicago, have a decepticon kick/blast/throw grimlock through the fields museum, then show him scan Sue. Then bust back out , transform looking all cool, then destroy something. I also hated the new soundwave

lol@ shockwave actually hitting things in the movie. i remember in the cartoon when he was the shittiest guard at the spacebridge. like every nigga would get through, he’d go off to get a sandwhich and like 5 autobots somehow snuck through.

Its not so much a gripe of him beng a vehicle, I wanted to see more of him, but you should transform into something that fits your level of epicness or what your known for. Starscream was a jet. How does the guy who transformed int oa BOOMBOX…translate to a sleek but ugly IMO Beamer? I know they don’t want to do anything ‘too silly’ (yeah right, but I’d have been happier with him being a LOW RIDER WITH A SOUNDSYSTEM…again, just one of those ‘changes’ that could be made, that wouldn’t change hte actual movie, would provide better fan service AND would interject more diversity in the cast.
Like in my head, ou could improve the movie several times over - without changing the actual base of the movie. Megatron transformed into several different things thru the course of the series, whats to stop Grimlock from changing into a vehicle and a ‘beast’ mode? And just to reiterate, me wanting the dinobots in this movie has less to do with me wanting dinobots in live action, and more to do with…well I’dtake them over who they put in instead. Ask the average joe any transformers name, and they’ll jump to the dinobots BEFORE there is mention of F-Kratos.
BTW the predator looking Decepticon was pretty sweet looking to me in the S. Prime chase scene.

Lmao so true. I loved that cartoon, the Decepticons got punked by the stupidest stuff.
I had some problems with the film sure, but it was a fun ride overall. I went in with LOW expectations and enjoyed myself. Mirage was pretty badass, I figured the old bot was Wheeljack, they never really said their names much and I’d go with Hasbro on this one.
I think I am one of the few that liked rust hoodie Megatron. From the looks of it it seemed like he had some “mental” issues throughout the film. He was a little off, kind of distracted and seemed easier to manipulate for it. While the scene with VS girl was dumb, it helped snap Megatron to his self and go into ass kicking mode more or less.

Soundwave was a SUV in the DOTM game. That would have been a much better choice IMO due to size and the fact that he could employ a Comm station in that mode as well.
I agree about them changing over, but it would be a “battle specific” change than, I could get used to this. Almost like a one shot for battle, which is why it would occur at the end of the trilogy if it ever happened

i dont know, i hated the first one, didnt bother to watch the 2nd one… and hearing people say that “just go with low expectation, and youll be fine” doesnt make me wanna see the latest one. plus im not that free at the moment, i got better things to do than waste what, 2 and a half hours of michael bay.

Transformers Animated had a good Starscream though he did end up getting taken out, multiple times. He kept coming back.
Yeah this movie doesn’t sound too hot. But I finally found an IMAX theater not far from me, so if I don’t have shit to do… it’s either that or wait a year for TDKR.
Even considering his failure to film a story worth a crap, at least Bay (and Spielberg as producer) is professional enough to knock out a trilogy in only 4 years. A lot of producers/directors are so full of themselves that they think it’s okay for a blockbuster series to span 8-10 years, whether the movies are good or not. Ideally all movies of this kind should be filmed ahead of time like LotR, but that understandably introduces a lot of risk, in case the series is a box office dud.

Him and Blitzwing were cool, but that series sucked mostly due to the crappy american anime look and that dumb girl who is oh noes! A robot herself.
Issue 1 - Smart. After movie 1, he was bitched to the fulllest. I thought he’d redeem himself in the end.
Issue 2 - Not in the way we would want it
Issue 3 - To each his own.
I really liked animated. It had a style unique from other Transformers iterations, each Decepticon could be a real threat, and the Autobots had to get creative in defeating them. It was much better than the current Michael Bay inspired Transformers: Prime though.
People say it’s not as bad as the first two. It better not be, I’m gonna go see this shit in a few hours, I better be entertained.
It’s better than the first and two IMO (though again I think I enjoyed RoTF more) - but but but but…it is more of the same, so if you didn’t like 1 or 2 you are not going to be 'redeemed into liking the third /honest

I second this point as if you loathed the first two, I doubt you will like the last one. Bay improved the formula, but hasn’t really changed it to where it is different, outside of better storytelling and visuals. If you liked the first one, you will like this one.
Was it anime style? Didn’t seem that way to me. The style was different sure, but I personally liked it in the end. I remember when there were those complaining about the designs in Spectacular Spiderman, and after watching it did a 180 on their opinions XD.
…but overall Animated was a pretty good show.
Got back from the movie and DAYUM it was good. The first half was lame IMO, unless it had Decepticons or Autobots in it.

…though is it wrong that I liked Seymour in this movie? Must be because of Dutch, he was badass.

Prime being too violent is kinda understandable if you consider how they’ve been at this war for eons, and really trying to be pacifistic against the Decepticons just doesn’t work.
Megatron being nerfed pissed me off though, he deserves better than this =/
