That feeling when you finally are enjoying a character in sfv but rl doesnā€™t let you lab it up.

Has anyone tried raida as an actual anti air? I had a couple of accidental raidas that would snatch people out of the air. Probably just got lucky, but was wondering if anyone tried it.

Also has anyone tried to exploit the air grab glitch? Use is as a empty jump that gives you 6 frames of invincibility upon landing.

Ive only used the glitch in training mode. You still have to successfully complete an empty jump to use it and she doesnā€™t have the quickest jump. There will definitely be some situations for it though.

Raida as anti air seems like a luck based thing.

This is exactly the kind of video I want to see more of, not these fancy bomb stuff that youā€™ll never use.

So Iā€™m gonna step outta my comfort zone and try to learn Ibuki for shits and giggles before investing all my time into Rog/Alex. Gonna sift through the other threads for tech but whatā€™s the best input option for instant kunai? Iā€™ve been using the IALL method of 236963 to partial success but canā€™t get it as consistent as IALL.

ghetto bomb setup on opponent block
lp-mp-lk TC xx VT - slightly walk forward (like 1-2f) - st.mp - cr.mp xx mk dash

Fancy stuff? Her bomb setups are why she will even be viable in the future, and most of them are not fancy at all, everything is easy execution compared to what jap players have done in tournaments.

Am I the only one who likes this version of Ibuki?
I mean with the SFV way of working the vortex would have been useless from the neckbreaker.
I like having the Kunais to be honest.

I do qcuf, hcb and punch (236963214+P). Seems to work as long as you do it real flush.

Yeah I get my fast walk speed back like in 3S and just walk up to people and press MK again. Plus the new kunais allow her to play neutral at ranges sheā€™s never had to before. It lets her kunais be more than just purely an air deterrent or close range shenanigan move.

That as well. Forgot about the walkspeed. I love the new tools.
Also, after her st.MK TC. If you do the air command dash into immediate kunai you get frame advantage. Just from jab though

man balrogs tap is so stupid. lk is out of reach most of the time.

Im not sure if anyone has tested this or if this would even matter as a thing, but someone see what they think of this
Set the usual Chun Li to cr.Lp reversal
Use Ibuki st.LK and then do a very slightly delayed Raida. I guess a blocked link if that makes sense
For some reason thats a frame trap. And randomly seems to counter hit the crouching LP from Chun.

Actually, this seems to randomly work on the other buttons. Its like it wasnt meant to be a thing but it is

Raida has always had the property to suck up buttons before they become active so thatā€™s probably whatā€™s going on. Itā€™s just since Raida is unsafe on block you have to be careful.

-12 to be exact. eating 200-300 damage vs potential 150.
iā€™d say nah.

That instant Air Kunai aint working out for meā€¦yet I can do Chun Lis instant air legs all damn day

Anybody found any cool uses for her charge P kunai throw aside from ghetto super confirms and combo enders? Iā€™d try to work it into my max damage combo game but MAN do I suck right now. Sheā€™s leaps and bounds from what Iā€™m used to as a character, very tricky.

I like her neutral though, short range hit confirms and EX kunai to close space from afar, neat little tool.

Other than to close a round against someone zoning me, not really.
