I’m going to third Virtua On:OT until I see how Virtua On 4 is like. Also, while I’m at it, gonna second Senko no Ronde as well.
Please try to find that site, I’m really REALLY eager to see if VO4 returned back to the OT system … also if anybody else can post some vid links, please by all means! It’ll be a lot easier if we’re able see tourney worthy gameplay from the games people suggest!
Considering VO4 has been out for a few YEARS now, I doubt this will see a US release. Hell, it’s hard enough porting the game to home systems due to how the game is.
And yes, VO4 is back to the OG style of play, the only difference is the “tag” system.
found two matches of v-on. for anybody interested. but i could not find anything else. Would anybdy know where to find some armored core matches. And is it even be considered a fighter?
From what I’ve heard, the original Soul Calibur is still the best. 2 and 3 have some serious glitches that make them less interesting, apparently. The problem is that the original is only available for Dreamcast, which isn’t exactly a popular console anymore.
DR is definitely the best balanced Tekken, too bad it’s arcade only. =/
And Naruto GNT4 is actually my main tournament game these days, as the midwest has one of the strongest communities for it (along with Florida). Let me put it this way…it’s very simple in some ways (there are some top-tier characters who are the definition of “easy mode”) but it consistently becomes more interesting the better you get. The beauty of it is that, no matter what character you use, there is always a way around everyone’s BS.
What I love is the diversity of the characters…if you think projectiles can’t dominate in a 3-D fighter, then you are horribly mistaken. =)
