Regarding the match with Carlos, don’t go thinking that this is on some match of the century type shit. You obviously need to be shown how arrogance is different then confidence. You can hide behind the entire “I’m just really competitive, thats the way I am” shield for as long as you want…but when you take a deep clear look at yourself, understand that your nothing more then an arrogant catastrophe that just had his balls drop. All of a sudden you start winning and you think your top dog…you start having the audacity to say shit like “I sure hope the southerners come out for this.” or “I think it’s nasty that it was only us that could represent Seattle at NCR.”

Fact 1. A majority of players south of Seattle don’t come out to North End tournaments or sessions.
Fact 2. Hoping that more Seattle players repped at NCR isn’t wrong in the slightest even in the exact words Carlos typed them in.
Fact 3. We all know Carlos talks trash and get’s too hype but you need to beat him in tournament then talk trash not get mad that he wins and beef online.

Mickey, I know you want to “put me in my place” and “break my ego” but there is no real place to put me or ego to break…you beat me you get my money but it’s just going to make me work harder not change my mindset at all.
I may be new but that doesn’t mean I’m not going to get confident when my learning and application start to pay off getting me some wins…also I feel I play alot better when I feel confident and no longer worry when I’m playing _____ oh no…rather I’m playing _______ I can beat him.
The last few matches I’ve played The Future he beat me but I still want to come back and beat him…so I study that match-up.
I just wonder what happens if I win our match…does this “put in place” attitude still go on or can some people start respecting my game?
I find it odd to see every time I win there is no claps or congrats just silence…Please keep wanting me not to win…I love to disappoint.

Mickey, as Chris’ teammate, I can tell you that it was his intention to piss you off. Also, I’m pretty sure that his money is on Carlos too. He does that shit to me and Vivek on a regular basis and doesn’t give a shit regardless.
A majority of players North of Seattle didn’t come out to South End tournaments or sessions with the exception of Elias (Dugg and Sir Mike came out once so props and love!). So it definitely goes both ways. That’s probably why Mickey had an issue with what was said. The only person that can complain about people not coming out to sessions is Elias. While I’m not saying you’re doing this Riki, I would appreciate it if people stopped with this whole “North Side/South Side” thing. That shit is played and boring. Are we gonna have some pseudo Big and Pac shit soon as well? I don’t wanna die going to enemy territory now. I have a family to feed!

Do you remember what I said after Tournament Wars when I told people to go to Franks? I instigate shit, I’m a person who will actually put things in movement sir, that’s what I do.
To Emanuel, the point of the matter is that like Mandel said, it truly DOES go both ways. If people can’t/won’t drive up for playing in tournaments or sessions, who’s prerogative is that? **People shouldn’t be looked down upon because they can’t hold/make sessions or events. **
I used to drive to Tacoma (a 40 mile drive from Seattle) 2 times a week just to play SF4 before it came out on console. On my way there, I would pick up homies about 70% of the time. I would spend about $30 worth of gas, as well as about 2 hours worth of time just to get to and from the arcade, let alone any other expense I had playing games and eating afterwards with people. Believe me, I drive down when I want to actually play.
The fact of the matter is that by having this stupid North/South ordeal, you make it sound as if people from the North are more hungry or more dedicated to the scene then people in the south. When it becomes a “I’m better then you” statement (whether it be because your more “dedicated” or you’re more “hungry”) it does become a problem…Pride gets thrown in the way, arrogance gets mixed in the equation…everything becomes a big mess.
So please understand how you might as well be saying “North > South because we actually have dedication to playing and getting better and South doesn’t!” It’d be real easy for me to say, “Well you guys may be more dedicated, but you still don’t beat us even when you DO constantly play.”
The North/South shit is ridiculous, and some people make it stand for “pride” which makes it even more disgusting. We’re fucking 30 minutes apart…this aint no NorCal/SoCal divide here…My point is that the dividing of the “North/South” is overrated and absolutely immature and stupid.
Regarding NCR…don’t blame people for not going…that’s REALLY fucked up. People have lives and real life steps in some times. Going to NCR doesn’t show you’re more dedicated to something then those that didn’t. For instance, I had my bags packed and was waiting for Cole for an entire day for a ride…but the fact of the matter is that I started having family issues that I had to take care of during the wait, so I couldn’t go. So don’t give me this bullshit of “I think it’s sad that it was only us who represented Seattle.”…It doesn’t make you better, and the sheer thought of saying that shows to me how once again people are complaining about dedication and hunger…
People have lives and people choose their own way of living, it’s THEIR issue if they don’t go to events, so stop blaming people and using it as something to say that your better then them for it.
