Fae tip jar =/= best western

Fae tip jar =/= best western
(NOT THAT YOU SHOULDN’T PUT MONEY IN IT)
Well, I suppose heh. Though I would hope we have some way of just giving them some cash to help us meet quota.
I’m sure they’d gladly accept venue donations.
I hope I can get my unemployment soon. I’ll buy hella drinx.
A venue donation jar would be tight, imo. I would chip in.
Even with me doing more than my fair share in tips to Fae on the bottom of my tab. Just saying.
Yeah, I think especially if we aren’t meeting quota, we should have the option of just throwing some cash Best Western’s way.
well like ive previously posted, not meeting quota for food/drink cost CAN be evened out WITH CHILDRENS BOOKS FOR THE DRIVE.
Yeah, everyone try to bring a book or two, you can get them dirt cheap at good will or something.
there is already a basic entry fee with the drink minimum/book drive but we do not really have to POLICE that do we? didnt think so. just do what you can guys. even though we didnt hit quota last week, the sales in the bar from throughout the day previous to tw was not high but you guys spent a lot.
mike its hard for us to recommend stuff since we eat there all the time. after the first month everything is the same! haha a lot of the times we dont even eat at work because we cant think of anything to make
I only agree on paying money for a service. I am unsure what service is being provided by the restaurant. If they are normally closed after 10:00 then we are not cutting into profits.
clean up costs, pick up some cups or mcdonalds bags? time for this 10 min max? electricity is not that expensive.
if bw wants to charge an entry, they better provide more than whats currently happening. paying 5 per head so people can sit in a chair to watch others play a game is not fair practices imo.
if you wanna enforce something like, 5 per head, but u get a choice of hotdog and beer, or fries and beer , pizza, or something like that, it would be exellent. or pitcher deal would be exellent too.
i realized that im trying to stop drinking, but i cant stop thinking about beer at bw lolz.
I"m pretty positive that BW won’t be doing a cover charge for TW’s.
There’s a lot of confusion going on with this quota talk.
Until Ian comes and talks to me about that issue, I think it’s safe to say it’s not an issue.
I’m pushing for ppl to buy drinks so that they will consider backin us with a console, and with the possibility of matching entry fees.
Let’s leave it at that as people’s imaginations are running wild right now.
Let’s see how our singles tournaments bring about a little extra cash towards the bar and Ms. Fae.
I’ll make up for my shitty drinking and Rufus performance last week by drinking a lot more. Maybe I’ll find some children’s books too, but don’t quote me on that part.
I thought I remember hearing from either Josh or Jacob that Best Western is going to be there for us to use whether we hit quota or not.
I think the word “quota” is indexing the idea that if we don’t make x amount of dollars every week we no longer get to play there. I assume this will be true if we are consistently bringing in hardly any money, but the bottom line is even if we aren’t drinking as much as “usual”, we’re still providing business they wouldn’t have despite having to pay Fae for the extra hours and the extra electricity costs.
My understanding is the reason we have a quota is so Best Western will start actively supporting the event rather than just providing a place for it to be held at.
Quoting this to make sure that this gets read.
so they didnt say anything about a hotdog machine at work today…maybe it didnt come in yet…WEAAAAAAAAAAAK, but maybe it did and they were too busy to say anything about it.
Too busy packing it with hotdogs and tying a bow on top and wrapping it in pretty sparkly giftwrap to present to us at 1030?
Yeah, that sounds about right.
Ill try to stop in and by some booze to help support.
Hey dudes, good games to everyone - especially Trace’s beastly Sagat. I really enjoyed the casuals afterward due to the relaxed atmosphere and the general lack of pressure.
Let’s see here… casuals wise, props to Riki-Oh for the cool rush down Bison, and Elias for his Honda play (although I know you don’t play him!).
Also, props to Elliott for the awesome arcade stick advice and equally awesome commentating.
P.S. Oh yea, the Tekken games were fun to watch, even if I don’t play it. That robot chick was sick.
Good games tonight, the final round between Elias and Cole was fucking siiick.
And thanks to Nolan for yellin’ at me and helping me keep my head straight during my casual matches.
Oh alright, matchin’ the face to the name. I play everybody, dawg. :bgrin: Your throw game is really good, just gotta not go for the panic throws when you’re out of range/not sure what to do. Backdash instead or something.
Yea thanks dude, I gotta learn how to kara throw real well - that’s like one of Ken’s best techniques.
