This plan unfortunately has one thing that makes it not possible. Casuals generally don’t start until like 2AM, so last call has already pretty much been done. 
That can be fixed with a solid 10:30 start time.
Yeah, it’d be nice if we could do that. It’s too bad we can’t just get this shit setup at like 7:30 or 8:00.

only 21+ would be able to come play earlier since itd be the bar but you could bring setups and also use the big screen in there. should definitely try to start playing the matches 10:30-10:45ish on those big days. OR MORE OCV’S haha
what all does the hostess have to do when she closes up? I honestly would like to just get in there right @ 10 to set up the xbox and shit. I mean I’ll set it up and then dip till she’s done so I only have to plug in the xbox.
thats probably fine. she has to clear all the dirty plates/tables, fold a box of silverware but she probably does that throughout the day, and ionno what else she does cuz thats when everybody throws crap at me to clean but ill talk to her friday and see if there are no guests still eating/needing to close out if you can come in and setup/help move tables. then niggaz wont have to wander around the hallways or smoke out in the cold lol

There should be rules against putting your naked body in the face of your opponent before a match tho…Or at least there should be time to allow for recovery after things like that. haha:bgrin:
Why aren’t we doing this every tourney wars night? Hell, I’m half tempted to try to organize a small like 16-man single elim tourney between 6-10pm (Can’t think it would take all that long) if that would be cool.
Maybe 10 minutes per game?
Just writing this out to make sure I am counting correctly:
10 minutes per match @ most (I think most tourney wars matches/rounds are lasting like 5-6 minutes - 8+4+2+1 = 15 matches @ 10 minutes each it’s 150 minutes, we’d be done hopefully by 9PM, and then casuals until Tourney wars…
If we did charge for it we could just do like 2-3$, with half going to the winner and half going to Fae/Best Western to help keep tourney wars going.
If we only had 8 people, we could just make it double elim, and people would have something to watch and get further hyped for before Tourney Wars and then we’d atleast have one setup going for casuals thereafter.
Of course, this is if Best Western would let us do it.

Dude, I just saw the vid of Guach vs. Nolan, and the commentary was kind of surprising. Were you guys joking or does Nolan really think I kicked him off the team? Because you guys were telling a totally different story from what actually happened.
Mark was the very first person I talked to. The very first team I had in mind was Guach, Rowtron, and myself. Guach was gonna talk to Row to see if he wanted to play. In between me initially talking to Mark, and Mark talking to Rodolfo, Nolan talked to me about teaming up, and I thought I told him that I was teaming up with Mark for sure, and we had a couple ideas for a third teammate we wanted to talk to first, but that we would definitely keep him in mind. And I wasn’t just saying that, if Row would have just said he didn’t want to do it, we would have picked up Nolan for sure.
Thinking back on it, this was when I was on pain pills though, and all this shit happened on aim. I was pretty cloudy so I may have communicated completely the wrong thing. If I did, sorry Nolando, I wouldn’t have “kicked you off” the team, hope there’s no hard feelings.
Ok, just out of curiosity, how many people would have an interest in a casualish singles tourney before Tournament Wars, starting at around 6-7PM in the Lounge? Would have to be 21+ I believe. I would want to max it out at 16 players due to time constraints, and probably wouldn’t run anything if it was less than 8 players (would just open it up for Casuals, and no money matches as long as people are around that want to play casual)
Would likely focus on SF4 to start - if the demand for Tekken is there we could maybe throw it up there as well. And just thought, if we can only field 8 for SF4, then we could maybe throw down an 8-man Tekken tourney as well (I think Tekken matches are even quicker and would just be Best of 5, one game).
Also, I would probably perfer not to have an entry fee for the tourney atleast to start, but eventually it would probably be 3-4$ entry, with a chunk of the pot going towards tips for Fae to help keep TWs going and the rest being given to the winner or something along those lines.
Yeah Nolan came to me and said the team was Trace/Nolan, and that you were going to talk to Mark being a third. I confirmed this with you and you said yes too. (Which is why I put up Trace/Nolan/??? as a team in the first signup sheet), then the next day from talking with Mark/Thao I was informed the team was Trace/Mark/Row, which really confused me.
What was the schedule change you asked me about, Frank?
Maybe we can have SFIV one week, the Tekken the next week and just rotate them out. Unless we get only 8 ppl.
