good shit to everyone who played last night. big up to PROJECT PAT! well played. dhalsim is a tough character to have to learn to fight against. team jurassic played well too, but theres still more fights coming up. just start beasting.
emil surprised me with footsie playing gief. and tanaka had to hold it down for his team. good job guys.
kriangkrai shows us once again to never sleep on vega. hahahah. oh and the untechables, each one of you guys had a chance to beat mark. you all played well in up hill battles. elliott, does goukens demon flip dive kick hit like akumas??? if it does then you should be able to do an ex one right on top of geifs lariat for a clean combo. bowflexmike, your ken put in work.
oh and ask me if i fucking care if i was out of line last night. disrespect me in my work place, thats why you cut out hella fast. I DONT WANT TO SEE HIM THERE ANYMORE, OR I WILL KICK HIM OUT.
Np man, i know it went to someone who deserved it~
Lol, thanks man. The funny thing is, I told her exactly what you would do before we got there. Your two catch phrases, and you would take off your shirt. Hella Yomi.
all i know is trace is fucking funny as fuck for laughing at the funniest things. (ex: laughing at vega’s weird ass wanna be overhead) then you hear a random ass laugh from trace. Classic.
Those guys driving around the block in the minivan telling us all we’re out of towners and barking at us while we smoked.
Overall it didn’t seem like the crowd was as into it as usual. I felt that there weren’t any really great, close matches and I just had a harder time getting hype during the night.
Plus I had to see Kriangkrai with his shirt off up close and personal which traumatized me for the second half of the night.
I personally was getting into almost every match I watched, looking at playstyles and watching people use their characters, all of it I just find interesting. I love seeing when people have leveled up their game and bring the fierceness. I thought it was an eventful night! There were actually MORE ocv’s than I would of liked to see happen, because I felt like I missed out on a lot of matches that could have been.
I just got word from management that fae needs to be out by 3am. She’s clocking in way too many hours of overtime. So when last call is called, buy your drinks, close your tab, and if you can, bring glasses back to the bar so they can be cleaned. The bar was running out of glasses because people weren’t bring them back. She’s the only one working so please help when you can.
now does that include us too? Before we’d be out by 3:30am, but they wanted to wrap up at 3am this go around. Also is there anyway we can like just go start setting up before 10:30? My main issue is when we have 10 games to run on Dec. 19th, and Feb. 6th. I don’t want us to get kicked out before we finish. And starting at 10:30 on the dot is going to be crucial for those days.
I’ll offer up my HAVA thing for Directfeed if you would like, it’s really simple/easy to setup, we would just have to use Component rather than HDMI input and the HAVA can only handle 720p so there would potentially be some lag depending on how well the TV upscales to 1080p (is it a 1080p TV even?).
I want to buy that Hauppauge thing but it’s 250$ I don’t have and won’t have for a while.
Hopefully by Season 2 heh (might manage to get my gf to get it for me for Christmas or something)
