True. It seems if it’s not a Money match, it’s not important enough to play to some people. I mean for instance, last week, I played a casual against Paul Lee, Jacob and then a Money match vs. CeramicSugar, but I told him to keep his money because I’m not doing it for the money. I do this stuff for the sheer joy of competition, money on the line makes people crack and fumble and others play even harder and more fierce. I will more than likely play ‘negative money matches’, I lose and I pay up, I win and it’s all good for you to keep your money.

Edit: Just realized I needed to have a point to this post. Everyone seems to think that Money matches are priority in terms of playing, if that’s the case, why not treat it like GW and just give Frank the money, his set-up/event/venue. I believe that the casuals/grudge match between myself and Jacob were HELLA fun. Nolan put side-bets down, which I think was super hype! Like when Trace and Mickey bet on ‘First Hit’ between Daigo and JustinWong at Evo, it was fun in it’s own right.
Agreed. Right now, it seems like casuals just turn into the hardcore NW people playing each other for money, and there’s no room for people who are new to try their luck against these hardcore.
Yeah, I think we should just setup an order/line and play it normal. If you want to turn it into a money match you can but more people who just want to play should be able to play.
There will be win streak caps cause I’m not trying to see someone sit there and dominate on the main set up all night long. 10 games? I think that’s more than enough. And again I’m not trying alienate those that want to play for money, but at the same time I’m not trying to have those that want to play for money alienate those that don’t. Which is what is going on.
Not necessarily BANNING money matches but doing it normal as if they were banned. If, when people get their turn to play, they want to turn it into a money match with whoever they are playing against then go for it. But you sure as hell don’t get to cut the line just because there’s money on the table.
Thank you for regulating money matches. I’ve always hated people taking up the TV to play fucking one dollar money matches. My time is money, put some real gwop down.

more setups guys. i like casuals and i like money matches but i dont like having to wait hella long to play. by 1am i should be too fucked up to walk let alone play on a saturday night ahahahaha so yeah guys bring what you can, but when tw matches are on i think everybody should stop playing side games and watch.

I’d like to point out that Team Boss has a 49 day gap between matches…I know we did a double header but really?..That’s ridiculous. I’m just saying if somehow the schedule could put one of our matches closer that’d be nice.
Calm down, scheduling changes happen. TDP doesn’t play until December 5th, YOU do the math. Your not the only getting the “shaft.” Be happy that your even playing in the tournament…a lot of players would like to take your spot.
