If all goes right, we will have an arcade there w/ a ton of great fighting games, including turbo and the arcade version of 3rd Strike.
Not to mention, we will have other games available to play @ different stations.
And like I said before, 8 stations will be up and running w/ SSFIV for practice purposes until the main tourney starts at 3.
Yes. I dont really care much about ssf4 but that doesnt mean imma try in win it. I’m mainly here for hdr so if by any chance wes shows up i can level up. But hopefully a lot of ppl show for hdr.

That’s right your an HDR guy. Well your a damn good SSFIV player. You don’t have to answer this, but do you mainly play as the same character in HDR as you do in SSFIV?
The arcade is American style w/ Happ, sorry man. It’s a completely different arcade than what was at the last event however. I suppose that would mess your game up a bit trying to go back and fourth between American & Jap style.
We’re in the process of building something nice w/ the JAP button style (Sanwa parts as well). After being on these forums for a few years, I realized that like 80-90% of people that play SF are not Happ fans, at least on here.
I’ve notice on the first page that it didn’t say
- Winners Finals, Losers Finals, or Grand Finals can be 3 out of 5, and the player in the Losers Grand Finals must win two sets
I think its usually in the Grand Finals, but I’m not too sure

thanks. I really didnt mean to play as rog in vanilla but when it came out he was the only character I felt good with. I used to main vega in hdr but when vanilla4 came out he was such a shitty character that i just couldnt work with him. I guess by playing rog in vanilla, it gradually switched from vega to rog in hdr. Not that i didnt know rog n hdr since he was my back up character but after going to so many tournaments you just gradually level up.
Ya just grand finals will be 3/5 loser bracket must win twice…
T6 button configs: I see no ruling on evo or devastation one way or the other… MLG has a no multiple button mapping policy, but they tend to be strict… House rules here allow for it since it’s built into the game and useable online… What’s are you feeling… I could offer it up to vote before hand and gogo democracy… USA USA USA!

This was written b4 the kinda confirmed to come. I’m not saying I’m the best in milwaukee. I said I’m one of the top even though I don’t play it. Granted I only won 1 sf4 tourny but have placed in the top 3 twice and 5 I believe twice. Not trying to knock on anyone in milwaukee but its true. I see a bunch of u guys always playing ssf4 online but when we play I win consistenly. I’m just speaking the truth. What I’m saying is what everyone else knows. Milwaukee isn’t strong in ssf4 period. Its like what syxx and me say that WI is a tekken n smash state. I understand that what was said between u guys n lacrosse was not necessary but there was no Wi min rivalry til my finals.then a lot bs was said n that’s y they decided to have the 5v5. Foot u know I got our back down here but imo min got better players than us straight up. No knock on anyone here in milwaukee or wi.
Edit: my bad its 2 sf4 tournys I won. And thinking about what was said about last tourny, if I remember correctly didn’t u go like 1-2? I don’t seem to recall u winning anything either. Refresh my memory if I’m wrong but I go to pretty much every tourny here and the majors in chicago? Don’t recall u being tops anything. Oh but not talking shit though.
lol he’ll play… still training couldnt really find a fit for him but i see he’s coming around. He told me he had some good games at the shop. You’ll see more of him at the tournament =)

You’re right I haven’t won anything not even top 3. I don’t claim to be good either I’m decent but not great. I just think you rubbed everyone the wrong way. You haven’t even played EVERYBODY from Milwaukee. I’ve yet to see you beat Soloist or Madwak consistently both of whom I consider to be top players as well. I remember the one week at Jerry’s also I was beating you in HDR with my Ryu pretty “handily” as well. I’m a warrior too so let that be known.
I never claimed madwak or soloist easy. In my view madwak is the top player in milwaukee. I haven’t played soloist in ages but never said anything bad about him. I just said I rarely play the game but can beat everyone. Is that not true or what.
Also that week at jerrys u only beat my ryu whom I don’t play and it was fairly close not by a far margin. What happened when I picked my mains. The streak started

We have a custom built pedestal running a nice version of MAME that has 3rd strike on it. We do not have a dedicated 3S machine (Wish we did)!
We are working @ bringing in a JAP style arcade, hopefully will pick one up very soon.

Thanks for hopping on w/ some props. Forgive and forget is what I always say, it’s all good. I was talking to a few southern WI players, including Ben and we are planning on coming up to one of your events in the near future to play (If you don’t mind). Probably get around 5-10 people up there. We do not run many fighting game tourneys, only around 2-4 a year, so it sucks that our events clashed this time, but next time we will coordinate better. The problem with our event, we have to book the gaming center around a month ahead of time. So we booked it for July 24th & put a $50 deposit on it in June. Running 2 decent tournaments at the same time, in the same state, w/in 4 hours from each other is never a good thing as it just decreases the amount of players for both tournaments. Anyways, good luck with your event as well…!
Was just thinking, it would be cool if we could have the winner of our SSFIV tournament take on the winner of your SSFIV tournament at the end of the night… You using PS3’s or 360’s? What time do you project your tournament will be ending?
