asdfjkl;
I just ordered a green goblin PS2 stick after contiplating which stick I wanted to get for a while. The reason is the Virtua Stick for PS2 on 3S the place where your fierce should be at is unassigned and the roundhouse is where the fierce shoud be at. My question is when I go to a tournament will the other players be anal and make me play at defult and not let me assign my buttons to be defult on my stick?
Typically both players have a chance to set their buttons before the match starts. So if your stick does not conform to the normal Capcom default layout, you have a chance to change it.
Still, it is a lot easier just to get your stick wired default, if nothing else to make stick swapping easier at casuals.
The Green Goblin is for Dreamcast. You probably mean thePS2 version of the Japanese Saturn Virtua Stick. Every tournament that is on console will let you change the button mappings. Some tournaments do not allow game-based macros (stuff like 3p, 3k, lp+lk, etc.) though.
I’ve a idea new blueprint custom metal case
I’ll making build custom the metal case. the PS2 version of the Japanese Saturn Virtua Stick. Dunno!
Thank you guys; I didn’t want to be screwed when to first tourney and the officials wouldn’t let me map my buttons to the normal settings.
why would you not have a stick set to default, i just hate that people need to freaking change their buttons why cant people just play default assigned buttons in the games:annoy:
I would recomend learning to play each game on default button layout, the game comes like that on default for a reason:sweat:
I dunno, because maybe the defaults are made with pads in mind and some people want to be able to play games witht he same configuration they use in the arcades and not every stick conforms to capcom standards and even if they did, what about other fighters with other layouts AND THIS RUN ON SENTENCE HAS GONE ON TOO LONG BUT WHAT YOU SAID WAS DUMB.
kthx
did you even read what i posted, I SAID that everything on sticks should be DEFAULT LIKE HOW THE GAMES WHERE MEANT TO BE PLAYED!!!:annoy:
try again lad youll eventually get it:rofl:
one size fits all because that’s the size i wear!
Then instead you made a pointless no-duh statement, as no one expressed any desire to play anything outside default. Which is also dumb.
all you need to do is open your stick and reroute the wires.
what part of having a stick set on Default did you not understand :annoy:
I stated that its anoying that some fuckers like to change their buttons and having to wait for some dumb ass to change their buttons when we could be playing is just plain dumb, and so are you for trying to start a flame fight. :nunchuck:
hanz0, you’re the one trying to start shit, so shut up please. Your English is a failure if you think your first statement matches your second, and now you’re all over the place. I’ve had enough retards for one day.
The idea of hardwiring your stick for default on one game is cool, but it also depends on what you play. I’m building an 8-button stick so I can play line, L, or box layout for SNK games (I don’t know what I favour yet) so what do I do then? I plan on wiring it for street fighter, and using button configs for the rest, of course.
