So, PrimeTimeGamers apparently texted a group of people about his upcoming tournament in Lakewood, CA on the 22nd. These people, however, never gave him their number.
When several people asked him about how he got their number, he didn’t answer, and when pushed further, he deleted his own thread. http://shoryuken.com/showthread.php?t=237218 (It’s gone now, obviously, but it was in the Tournaments and Events section.)
HOWEVER, I’ve been to one of his tournaments and had a very good time. I didn’t notice anything shady and it was well run.
I wouldn’t say to put him on the list but he’s somebody to watch.
suddenly doubling all of the ranbats points for two weeks without warning except the first place player (who is the only one ahead of him in ranbat points). shaaaaaaaaaady.
This is actually like 2-3 weeks late but better late then ever.
Never go to a tournament with KOOPA1981 http://shoryuken.com/members/koopa1981/ involved. Ripped off players, wouldn’t give back money, didn’t give refunds, took brackets away during tournament, didn’t know shit, admitted to not knowing what to do, pretty much told us in our face that we weren’t gonna get the money he took back, let people with drugs in (seriously there was a spare room where his stuff was and his friends were back there smoking), etc this list goes on and on seriously.
Was more of a local tourny but for anyone who visits and if this guy tries anything again avoid him. He disappeared for awhile but recently has resurfaced trying to get back in with the community. He is blacklisted by the locals fyi. His resurfacing is the only reason why I decided to finally put this in here.

you have to understand that his tournaments are a one man show hosted in his house and its hard to be on top of srk pms the day of a tournament when everything he sets up is on his own.
you’re only one person and i, among all of san diego and a good amount of players from socal/la/oc can vouch that cody is a great tournament host. yes its tragic that you came from out of town and missed out but lets be honest you didn’t fly out to socal only to go to one tournament hosted at someone’s house.
Just wanted to inform everyone of the sad news that Manny Camacho(Yes of GPX Gaming and the Gamme cancellation event) passed away this morning from Lung and Liver Cancer.
I hope you understand that most people here are indifferent to that cause of the way he behaved with the community.
I know its common tradition to usually talk only good stuff about people who pass away, but the truth is that this community can’t really forget what happened last year.
If you feel sorry about it, then I guess you could actually continue Many’s doing and try to bring Gamme to life.
Until then, I don’t think we should remove Gamme from this list. Not tryin to hate, but Im sure someone is gonna bring up the idea to take him off the list cause of that.
If there are tourneys in heaven, I’d tell them to review Many’s tourneys.
