I was able to catch finals for just about everything but VF (sadface) and BB

Grand finals for GG was so fucking hype, absolutely amazing stuff. FAB got a mudhole stomped in him by Ogawa, Machaboo beat Ogawa handily and perfected Shounen before losing by a Slash’s worth of damage, Inoue barely put out Shounen and took it to last hit against RF with about a 30% health lead, then loses it when RF lands his corner BNB to barely take it.

This was so horrible to watch. It was basically just Oeppu’s Raiden stomping the shit out of people all tournament, or K’ mirrors/rape. Fuck this terrible game.

The VF game at SBO 2010 was Final Showdown and not 5R. Final Showdown has been out for the last two months or so, so Arcadia and Sega went with FS as this year’s game. Pretty much all of the SBO qualifiers were on 5R however.

Had I acquired the means to, I would have recorded GG in a heartbeat.
GGAC Top 4 never fails to entertain.
Even in semis it was hype, Shounen almost OCV’d Isamu/Roi/LOX until Isamu stepped up and RAPED him, and I mean raped him raw, then RF steps up and annihilates Isamu and advances to GF. Mitsurugi Zappa put on a damn show too, almost perfected Inoue to prevent an OCV, then goes in hard against Machaboo, loses first round barely to EXE Beast FRC backdash throw shenanigans to catch his forward dash escape, clutches out round 2, then gets perfected in round 3 for the lose. Absolute insanity, many nuts were busted.
