Because the “Category B” wasn’t really necessary in the first place. It seems like it was just out of respect to these games that they were put in this year. If the players don’t show some good matches I doubt we’ll be seeing some if any of these B category games next year.
On a side note, I personally think this is the best our US team has ever been.
