SBO is put on by Arcadia…the magazine that focuses on arcade games…so yeah, they’re not going to have any console games in the lineup. If anything, SSFIV not being in the list is a clear indication that its NOT coming to arcade.
So that’s…interesting. The pros will continue to play regular SFIV and ignore SSFIV, unless they plan on going overseas and taking cash prizes in console tournaments. Casual players may jump to SSFIV, and then we end up with a split in the playerbase. :bluu:
As for the date change, last year in August it was held right in the middle of a summer holiday where people usually go back to their hometowns, or if not that at least family vacations. While that made it easier to get time off work…I had a hell of a time trying to explain to Japanese people why I was going to Tokyo to watch a video game tournament. There are a couple of holidays in September, and since there’s no “go home and be a family man” obligation like in August it’ll be a lot easier for players to travel. I think at least.
LMFAO (“points finger at the mbaa community…well those who play gaybraz true: continued pile of shit”)…
not enough roa players anyway
GAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA…
Serves you right.
SBX being on the list and MBAA not, is probably the funniest thing I seen all year (No it doesn’t make sense…but who cares lol). You got Arcana. So I’m sure most of yous will be iight.
Who’s gonna keep following Japan’s arcade traditions now (it’s sooo dumb. )? LMFAO!!! NO HDR…sadfaces. :middlefinger:
I’m glad I stopped YEARS AGO!!! At least EVO got it right with adding TvC: UAS. coughcoughnextisCVS2coughcoughvotedamnitcough
fuck arcades and their cabs, I wanna be comfortable when I play fighting games…
SBO couldn’t handle an awesome game such as TvC: UAS anyways (couldn’t use my ngc controller at a fucking arcade  ). It’s by far the most fun fighter released in the past 2 years.
Good shit on 2k2 UM being in the line up. WAY PAST DUE!!! SNK FOREVER!!! fuck the haters.
2010 is getting better and better (especially if this sbo list doesn’t change).
EDIT: realized that gay tekken was on the list…YUCK!!!
I really don’t get it…I thought Capcom didn’t care about the arcade community again after the announcement of no arcade release of SSF4, and now they buy out another year of SBO???
“Yeah, we want Japan to get back and play SBX again…but Super SF4? Fuck 'em.”
Is this Sengoku Basara that horrible or are people hating on it because it’s the status quo? I’ve seen the video with the infinite combo, but are its infinites that detrimental to the game? Are they braindead-easy to pull off or something? Marvel has plenty of infinites and nobody complains (too much). I was considering looking into it because the spritework looks gdlk, but if it’s that terrible…Not gonna bother.

Lol dude, good luck being taken seriously 'round these parts
The difference between a SBX infinite and a infinite in Marvel or HnK or FUC is that infinites in those games kill people. Infinites in SBX do NOT kill people. You just sit there for the rest of the round while you watch the time tick down to zero. Hopeful an Oichi player rocks the tournament, 'cause her infinite doesn’t time you out, but kills you in 2 seconds.
Join date is hardly synonymous with intelligence, as evidenced by your incomprehensibly retarded post, and demeanor in general.
But I guess that’s all an ‘OG’ with no relative cognitive thought has to go on after being called out on his idiocy.
Well, that and, “U MAD? LOLZ”, which is also as stupid, and suits you perfectly.
Go figure.
Also, HnK deserves another year at SBO.
Fuck it, VS does.
Boo, SBX.
I honestly doubt this will even be half-decent promotion for SB: Samurai Heroes (PS3 title).
What a waste of a slot, at least TvC last year was a great fodder slot, those grand finals were nuts.
I expect much clock draining, repetition and collective groans.
At least it isn’t Melty.
And hey, at least Digimon is better than Pokemon.
Yeah, I thought SBO actually brought TvC in Japan into better light and pretty much helped in the interest so much that it became a cult favorite. Oh well, at least it was fun while it lasted.
And yeah, Digimon actually has monsters that are badass.
