They were playing SFXT streamed, apparently there was lag, but maybe it was prepatch XTekken? XD Anyway, this will be good for making fighting games more available to people and unifying a ton of players together since theyll just need one game streaming service. Just need for the internet to be fast enough to handle it, and hopefully theyll have a online vs feature. Maybe itll be bad for tournaments since the amount of internet needed will be ungodly, but who knows at this point how good the internet will be in the future. I see Japan adopting this eventually since their SF4 arcade cabs are hooked up to the internet anyway. Hopefully theyll have one service that you can get even if you dont have a Toshiba tv, and hopefully our usb sticks can hook up to the tv’s.
I dont know how its gonna work, but yeah since your steaming the game then you have to have a good connection to the game. It sounds similar to the SF4 arcade internet connection in Japan. I mean, theres gonna be a big need to have a great internet service to make this work for you, but if you do have one then after say 10 years from now well have a bigger gaming base then right now since all well need is a smart tv to play other with, no more disconnect between ps3/360/steam players.
