Great event! This was my first tournament ever so I wasn’t exactly sure what to expect but I had a lot of fun. I was one round away from making top 8 in Skullgirls but choked pretty hard in UMVC3. Though it wasn’t at all the fault of the tournament, I didn’t play my first UMVC3 match until about 9:30pm so I was kind of drained at that point.
One thing that I noticed was that there weren’t really any casual stations until the tournament for each game was finished. Not sure if this is how it is at other events but it would have been nice to be able to warm up and have something to do before my late pool started. Other than that though, pretty hype tournament. I’ll be sure to make it out to the next TTT event. Big thanks to Neorussell and everyone else!
At most tournaments its normal not to have many/any casual stations and to wait long periods between pools/rounds… Its part of the experience. You have to show up early before the tourney starts to get some practice in, but if your pool is late then it might not make a difference!
Stream avg about 3000-4000 Saturday. 5000-8000 Later on Sunday. Too Bad Joker v Fanatiq didnt happen but the HYPE was all there. BIG PROPS to NEORUSSEL RXS and ALL WINNERS AND PARTICIPANTS!! Wish I could have been there. Looked Amazing.
Yea props to all, this was quite the experience, glad I came.
Whoever reported the SFxT brackets jacked Scott Scummers and my internet stardom by misreporting. I demand a retraction and re-report since we clearly were the best losers in that tournament and deserve the recognition wrongly given to someone else.
