Is there anybody that lives in a more central area in the city (I’m around Yonge + Eglinton) and wants to play some matches from time to time? I’ve only got a PS3 at the moment but I’m shopping around and going to pick up an Xbox as well. Everyone I’ve met so far that plays local is outside of the city and like over an hour transit to play any games with. If anyone would like to cmon over for some Street Fighter toss me a PM!
Your best bet is either TOSF HQ (Scarborough) or TTT Danger Room (Central Toronto) for quality matches. you can find their respective threads on the forums here. There are also plently of tournaments every weekend where you can meet local players… Good Luck!
Yup I just went to the TTT tournament on the 16th and I frequent TOSF HQ despite having to travel to Scarborough. Thanks for the info and I have definitely had a blast with these places. I’m more just wondering if anybody might want to play some games for fun in the city without having to travel to a designated area. It’s free and sometimes I make hamburgers.
I wouldn’t mind heading to Yonge-Eglinton. It beats the hour - hour half I have to travel to get to the other places.

Depends where you are located but there are a few modders in the area (including myself).
I know this is a long shot, but I’m heading to Gravenhurst tomorrow afternoon, Anyone know any arcades around the area that I should stop over and check out? (barrie, muskoka, etc…)
I don’t really mind the location as long if it isn’t too far east at Scarborough. Around the downtown area, or further west is preferable.

So I was mildy jealous yesterday. A friend of a friend of mine was playing at some yugioh tournament at this shonen house in Toronto. Apparently a bunch of guys walk in and are like "Anybody play street fighter? Bets anyone?"
They set up and start jamming ssf4ae, our friend texts us saying “Hey you guys play SF right…? Have you ever heard of a guy called ComboFiend?”
According to him a Combofiend and a bunch of other top players from the states just showed up at this Yugioh hall and started running MM. Anybody heard of this, or have any info, if its true I am mad jelly. Fugging YuGiOh nerd!
