Venue Fee: $10
People should be aware that $10 is a Standard Venue Fee for tournaments now. It’s a lot of work to run a tournament. It’s even more work looking for a place to hold events and no, I don’t make profit from the Venue Fee if anybody is wondering.
Drinks
We will be selling drinks in the venue. Standard water or coke. Nothing special but I always hated the fact that I had to walk away from the venue just to get water.
I believe I chose the date specifically for March Break. Atleast that’s what i’ve been told the date week that March Break starts.
Still need somebody to be able to assist with SSFIV. Anyone?
I am new player trying to find talent within. I find many help from your videos on TorontoTopTiers. It is helpful site with videos, current events, and an active board. Tekken is great gaming and shows manliness. I wish to be great in the eyes of mortals. Thank you for showing me a path towards greatness.
He will have a table in the event for players to browse. Check Omega’s site and browse what he has to offer. He has sticks since i’m sure some of you MvC3 players are dying to find one.
Russell’s PM was pretty straight. Just to clarify, I wasn’t being serious in my last post, but it got blown out of proportion. I was kidding aobut getting paid. Russells putting a lot into this tournament, and even if he wasn’t, tourney organizers should still get something back for the effort.
We have permission from A & C games to post this in their FB page and some of their stores. I’ll also be asking surrounding game centre’s this weekend if they will let me post this up. Got to get more exposure.

pretty cool to have A&C for sponsor. They will provide a prize (not more pot bonus) for the event. Not sure what it is as of yet. I’ll post when I have more details about the prize. They will not be physically there in the event. Just in spirit and mentions in our stream.

I dropped El Taco for this account seeing as this is the name I’ve used in all other competitive games so I should just stick to it.
So I actually found HDMI cables, I didn’t know it came with the system so I’ll be bringing my box with those cables. I will also bring ssfiv and MvC3 game disc and stick. I’ll leave the stick at a station for casuals but will be taking it with me for tournament matches.
Torontotoptiers.com will be holding a raffle on the day of the tournament. I do want everyone to have a chance to win. It’s not just about the godlike players you know .
There will be other prizes provided by Omega Collectibles. I believe he is cooking up something on his table as well.
Raffle Prices:
Tickets can be purchased from the main table.
1 ticket = $2
2 tickets = $4
3 tickets = $5
The tickets are to cover the behind cost of running the tournament. Equipment, drinks, pot bonus, dinner for volunteers and whatever else comes in mind.
I do encourage people to purchase tickets. As you can see, the prize being raffled are no joke items. It will also help Torontotoptiers.com directors (me personally) break even on the funds used to make your tournament experience a great one.

If those Prices of the Prizes are a number you have to meet, you’re going to need to sell ALOT of tickets to break even on that, let alone whatever else needs to be covered.
How much is this tourney even costing?! Its not even a Major. How expensive is the Venue?! How do you expect gamers to spend $25 + Transportation, plus random snacks, etc. You’re biting off more than you can chew, IMO, lets not see a repeat of T-10
Dino: Cost of doing business I guess. Thanks for the concern Dino but i’m good regardless. I knew the risk. I’m certainly more smarter about these type of things after T10. Lots of learned lessons from 2 years ago that’s for sure. Again, thanks for the concern. If you want to help, you can help with the event… LOL.
