Event Raffle

Torontotoptiers.com will be holding a raffle on the day of the tournament. I do want everyone to have a chance to win. It’s not just about the godlike players you know .

The following items will be raffled (items are all brand new):
1 HRAP V3 SA (PS3) = Price $129.99 or VX SA (360) = Price $138.00
Fighting Stick 3 (PS3) = Price $$80.00

There will be other prizes provided by Omega Collectables. I believe he is cooking up something on his table as well.

Raffle Prices:

Tickets can be purchased from the main table.

1 ticket = $2
2 tickets = $4
3 tickets = $5

The tickets are to cover the behind cost of running the tournament. Equipment, drinks, pot bonus, dinner for volunteers and whatever else comes in mind.

I encourage people to purchase tickets. It will help Torontotoptiers.com directors (me personally) break even on the funds used to make your tournament experience a great one.

Free Raffle
I was gonna distribute the other prizes by other means but it looks like it’s better to just do it this way.

For paying the Venue Fee, you will get 1 free raffle tickets for a chance to win the following items:
-Tekken 6 bundle (Game and Wireless Stick) PS3 or 360 version
-Level Up T-Shirts
-6 Dragon Punch Energy Drinks

Note: These venue fee raffle tickets does not give you the chance to win the other sticks.

Raffle Time is @7p:
Seems like a good time when everyone will be in the venue.
If you are not in the venue when I call a ticket number, I will pick another one.
The time is listed so no argument about you not being there.

First Toronto MvC3 tournament?

LOL, I read all the subject of the threads. When I see PWN, i instinctively think Hamilton. Isn’t that a Mario Smash Event though?

Thanks for letting me know. I think, this tourny should be considered the first serious MvC3 tournament in Toronto. I’m leaving it as "1st TFNS MvC3 tournament for now. We’ll see how the PWN tournament does with just 5 days after release. I think, a month should be enough to give people the necessary knowledge to show hype matches.

NeoRussell

Desi: Just making sure you didnt’ miss stickying this one.

Thanks for putting this same date as the MTL LANETS tournament …

Wow, I would have never noticed this. Crankypunk plz contact me ASAP.

I did see your date and i meant no disrespect by it, honestly. MTL is a different region altogether so I didn’t think it would be an issue to have one in our region. If I have to worry about other regions and their tournaments, I won’t be able to run anything till april. Again, no disrespect. I was thinking about Toronto and how it’s march break for peeps when I made that date.

NeoRussell

We get an opportunity to integrate fighting games into mainstream video game tournaments with LanETS (which was a WCG qualifying tournament last year) and you thought it wasn’t a big deal to try and take away incentive for people to show up?

Whether or not you meant it, this is total disrespect.

Aw come on HVE. Shit like this happens all the time. Besides, it’s really only ever like 2-3 cars that come from Toronto, and i’m sure that many of us are still coming anyways. As communities get bigger and there are more events, things like this will happen. There’ no need to get upset about it, it is what it is. I’m sure LANets will be a success either way.

Yea, and meanwhile this is going to guarantee that 0 MTL will be showing up to this tournament. I guess I understand if Ontario is THAT scared that MTL will take top 3 at MvC3 at their tournaments.

Cranky: Sent you a PM

HVE: Think of it what you like. I said my peace. I sent you a PM as well.

NeoRussell

That’s pretty childish. You realize that the top players aren’t the ones choosing the tournament dates.

Sweet jesus
I could help out with Tekken (or brackets and whatnot)

John: Tekken is actually good. Would be good to see you there.

Pretty sure said cars won’t show if there is a tournament down the street.

mtl hasnt gotten top 3 at our marvel tournaments since like 2002.

right on!

Plz don’t label Ontario for being scared over one persons choice to host a tournament you Dumb Fuck …

p.s. what teddy said

Yo i’m scared of HvE at T11 a drunk HvE almost fell on me. I feared for my life.

MVC3 MADNESS!!! Create the best teams.
