i wonder wtf that old guy’s problem is anyway. they need to open a good arcade downtown to finally kill off funland. doesn’t have to be overly ambitious like that john st. playdium was. just something simple with japanese cabs to complement the rest of the developments going on near the square. wasn’t it partly inspired by shibuya to begin with? that’s basically arcade central.
and yes i’m aware of the major complications associated with this.
Funland is great, good place to kill hours for 50 cents at a time.

It would be theoretically easy to ditch that arcade permanently, if it werent for the fact its so conveniently close and nearby. I’d gladly take the two hours travel time to go to Orbit anyday if not for the fact I have THINGS TO DO.
Chinatown Center needs to reopen fast. That place used to be a wicked alternative to FL, with at least 2 3S cabinets and only 25 cents a game.
Chinatown center failed. The 3S cabinet in the internet cafe place had broken sticks/buttons, and the one in the convenience store was too crowded. There’s also no competition there.
