Nice box! If/When you do a 6 button run I’ll be on this like a rat on a chetoo.

Couldn’t you just buy some plugs for the two holes you’re not using?

Name: Winston
Location: Richmond Hill

of boxes: 1 please

Primered: Yes

Couple questions.

Is it a mdf bottom, or acrylic? What about rubber feet? It appears that the buttons would be what holds the acrylic down is this correct?

You got PM.

I guess. sigh

Name: James
Location: Kansas City, Missouri

of boxes: 1 please

Primered: No

Important announcment

  1. the top is CNC for a JLF flat mounting plate, other plates will fit only if you do some minor enlarging of the square hole…

  2. I am trying to source rubber feet that also serves as the screws to hole the bottom in place… they will be included in the box when they are ready

  3. I mention no joystick and no buttons… i should say nothing except the wood and plexi and rubber feet is included (that means NO PCB INCLUDED)

  4. those who ask no primered, any reason? :stuck_out_tongue: because i would have to yank your boxes before they all get primered

  5. there is no hole for the cable pre-drilled because some people use wireless, some people use RJ45, etc… so I can’t make universal hole… you can drill / dremel your own hole in the box

  6. anybody who wants 10+ PM me directly so i will increase the run size… i don’t want to take it from the 30 I have set aside for actual users

  7. yes, the button nuts how the plexi down

I don’t appreicate the fact that you chosen to hijack my thread here for your product, but yet chosen to censor my link on your thread… this is not what community cooperation is about… i am asking you to remove your link from my post and go find your own source for boxes if you don’t want to work together

-joe

With MDF it will probably not look so hot, but I was going to stain it, then throw some laquor on it.

Also, just to clairify, the prototype replicates the final button layout? If not, could you post the template you are using, or a link? Just want to be sure…

Thanks

once i ship it and you get it stained, please post pics… i want to see how that turns out

-joe

Im definately interested in one of these, depending on the price.
