Toronto blank box on sale

Joe hopefully I have my understanding wrong. But you mean this plug right?

So if you have a sixaxis you use "sixaxis->cable #2->plug->cable #3"
OR ps3/pc cthulhu the you just plug "cthulhu&your own the b/A USB->plug-> cable #3"
or if you have a xbox360 then plug the “360usb->plug->cable#3”

Apologizes if I have confused the matter

p.s. I guess you can mount it from the inside out … i.e. turn it around.

you remove the 2 screws and turn around the adapter… then it goes the other way

sixaxis adapter uses usb a female, you need cable #1 and cable #2 to make this work

cthulhu uses usb b female, you need only cable #2

either way you need cable #3 to extend the box to your ps3

I know, Joe the cables you have are good.

But the plug in your pic has the mounting plate (i.e. the square plate with 2 screw holes) has female usb A it should be femail usb B. Otherwise you would have to mount the plate on the inside of the case to expose the female B so that you can use cable #3 properly.

See robokits mount here.

Here are the pix

Got it … you are faster than me LOL

Wow… this toronto blank box is getting more interesting because of this USB mounting. Nice work, Sillypuddy

Just a few questions… if I have to paint my cases on my own. Do I just have to buy paint for the wood and paint it, dry it and that’s all? Or are there any more other steps for painting a wood?

how much for this?

If you going to paint it… i would recommend you get it primered… it will prevent the mdf from soaking up too much paint, etc

-joe

My 2 cases ordered from you are going to be primered… that’s the reason I’m looking for a paint job here in Singapore.

What are the steps in painting? So that the painting won’t wear off easily. Can I use a spray paint when a wood had been primered?

yes, just go buy a can of spray paint and a can of clear coat, and you are set.

here is a paint guide that you can follow. http://forums.shoryuken.com/showthread.php?t=158194

Thanks for the link… I have an idea now to paint may cases on my own.

oh my…

if it isn’t too late, can you switch me to non-primered?

also put me down for one of those usb plugs! nice, nice find! i would prefer a fourth 24mm hole if that also becomes an option.

take yer time, man. nice work!

Would it be possible for a 6 button layout for a future batch?

Is the fourth hole an option?

Most likely. as the back panel contains 3 x 24mm holes.

Joe said u.p.s. will be delivering the mounts on Monday (he got a delivery slip). He will make the announcement prolbably sometime next week with regards to pricing and adding the extra 24mm hole as an options.

the forth hole will be drilled on demand after the boxes are fully assembled and before the primer goes on… the location of the hole will be towards the button side of the back…

you will have to flush mount the plug from the outside… the plug will come uninstalled and you have to do that part of work yourself, so you can paint, etc before installing it

-joe

I’m not sure what that means…

That great, joe!!! Thank you very much for that option. The only problem that I have is the painting of my cases

Thanks for being so attentive/understanding/responsive! I know this is taking a lot out of you and I sincerely appreciate this!

Just to add, I would like to sign up for the USB plug mount and fourth hole drill. I originally wanted the box primered, but would prefer to do the priming myself now.

Again, thanks!

I think he meant was… you have to insert it from the outside

Joe , you really have a strong product. Im suprised no website contacted you to make thos available online.
