i dont think you should do an hybrid case. People either use full japanese part or full Happ parts.
it’s actually not that bad… if you grew up with the happ stick but want lower profile box, the hybrid is a good solution… but you are right… there isn’t enough demand right now for that

I picked up a non-primered one, we shall see how ugly this gets with some stain on it 
Oh and just as a side note, for some reason I was expecting the box to be a little more bulky but to my enjoyment it has a lower profile that I was expecting.
I just got my two boxes in the mail today. The package looked like it had been mauled by postal service despite the many fragile stamps. However, thanks to some nice packaging the cases were unharmed. They are beautiful. My initial inspection didnt find any flaws. I will post pictures and make more comments on the box when I get the rest of my parts and put these sticks together.

So it looks like the plexi is blue all the way through; I thought it may have been some covering for a second. What will you guys be doing in order to make your art not have a blue tint underneath?
The blue color is just a protective film on both sides of the plexi, it peels off easily.
Its just a film its not blue all the way through.
