Well fellas, i’m curious about the meaning of the acronymus that most players uses before their nick when playing. What is the meaning of:

MH

CoL

LxG

TA

GU

U.Syn

IFC

UVG ?

It’s the name of their sponsors or group that supports them. CoL would be Team Complexity (i.e. Col.cc.Combofiend). CC being Cross Counter.

Complexity Cross Counter
Unveil Gaming

Some are player groups
The Arena
Maximum Hype

IFC isn’t either, I believe, Yipes just is ** I**n F------ Control

Yeah, more often than not, those are acronyms of the companies that sponsor players. Those companies pay their fare to travel to major tournaments. If a non sponsored player consistently does well @ majors and starts to earn a reputation as an emerging top player, lots of times they will eventually earn a sponsorship.
