Dieminion imo best guile.
Okay so this is really bugging me for some reason. But I’m pretty certain the dude’s name is Yoshio, not Yoshiwo. The katakana he’s using is for all intents purposes is pronounced as “o” not “wo”. I’m assuming he used the “wo” katakana to spell his name as opposed to using the actual “o” katakana just for shits (actually what’s weird is why they’re not using hiragana or kanji to spell their names, maybe its just for style or something). Kinda the same way some people will spell dog: d-a-w-g or later: l8r <— bad examples but it’s all i could think of at the moment.
So yeah anyway, Yoshio is a beast. He’s one of the main reasons I try to use guile :tup:. Oh and fuson 
(just so he doesn’t cry if he reads this and i don’t mention him).

ughh, talking about a bison match up with an online match vid . . . LIVE it’s definitely heavily in guile’s favor, that’s what eventhubs ranking talks about. Online bison can just spam BS that is very punishable on react live, but requires guessing to punish with 3+ frames lag (50 ms or more, which is actually a good connection).
Edit: just wanted to note, I’m bored and completely trolling. I’m no guile expert in any sense. Just irks me to see people posting online matches as remotely serious. Also found it hilarious that a comment in the youtube vid was on the lines of, “nice rushdown bison”. Or for that matter, calling the guile player bad because of what? He’s not reacting fast enough in an online match? lol.
Hello. I’m so estonished that nobody has mentionned the Japanese player who is the best Guile player I have ever seen. He’s for me the best in the WORLD, and without anydoubt one of the 3 best at least :

although e Ace is probably the best one in Super. I have yet to see footage of Yazu or Yoshiwo play in SSF4 AE yet
yea when people tell me that the match is 7-3 in my fav. i ask them how? i honesty dont see it.
this guy ACE is really good, that focus into ultra ain’t easy on a real match, a few weeks ago I played a french player, he was really good had like 19,000 BPs, did that same move twice in a 5 round match it almost look like Guile wasn’t a charge character, can’t remember his name though.

I’ve been playing with a Madcatz TE for a 2 months now whereas i’ve always been a pad player.
I really love the object and the feeling of the play with a stick. Nonetheless things are pretty weird.
After a few weeks, i was better with my stick than with a pad. Unfortunately, i do not know what’s going on but i’m decreasing badly. And now, most of the time my skill level is so low that i look like someone who’s playing the game for the first time in his life.
I felt quite an anger… So i do not play anymore for days, i need a break 
dieminion is hands down the best guile outside of japan that i’ve seen.
as for japanese players, i always forget which one is which. what was the name of the guile who would like spam loads of focus attack tricks on his opp’s wakeup. i remember one time he did fa, back dash, air throw on ex messiah and the rufus player fell for it four times in a row. too funny. he’d also do stuff like level 2 fa, back dash, level 2 fa, forward dash, ultra 1…just mad random stuff after focus.
Fujisawa aka Niconico Mark
Haha, I went to a tournament when vanilla was in full swing and Niconico mark was there. I swear to god, that guy is hilarious. I have never seen so much random garbage work in my life. One hell of a crowd pleaser and good fun to watch, but when he goes against the best of the best, he kind of falters sadly.
If I had to pick one though, it would definately be Yoshiwo (or yoshio… whatever, yah, we all get it, the “W” is silent). I still need to get some fresh video of that guy.
My vote goes to Yazu overall as the best Guile although there are too little videos of him. Most of his decisions in his matches are normally the best choice in those situations and his footsie game is the best overall. I think his Guile zoning is the best so far and he knows when to attack and defend.
ACE E RINN and Dieminion for matchup knowledge. ACE E RINN is hard to read except for when he tries to crouch, stand repeatedly to bait an ultra.
Yoshio gets the best mastery of the hp button and plays the best defensive game. And I think this is where he fails at cos he can’t mount a good offensive poke game when the need arises. His footsie and mind game is also not as good as Yazu. He also plays a more reactionary game rather than trying to exploit the opponent’s weakness at the same time.
Warahk and Lamerboi would be excellent Guile players too if they can handle pressure just a little bit better, which isn’t easy at all. Not to say they are not good but I mean they would be > Jwong if they can handle pressure better.
Gilley and ModInside for the technical and executional side of Guile. You can’t deny their combos and setups vids which benefits a lot of Guiles over the world.
Furansujin is also a very good Guile but there are too little vids of his Guile. I think he doesn’t main Guile now.
I always thought Yazu was the best at his time. He has a straight up pure zoning style, and has good ways to stay out of the corner. I do like Ace in Super, his style resembles the style I’ve been working on. Great counter hit setups too, Ace also doesn’t give up too much. He’s a great mixture of execution and defense. Kyotijin (I think his name is spell that way) is good too. He has a more defensive style.
In America, I would say Dieminion is the most consistent Guile followed by Warhk. I really would like to see how they both do at Evo. I plan on going, would love to run into these two for a MM.
