Top 10 Most Powerful Supers In Fighting Game: Projectiles, Beat Downs, and Grapples

The top 10 super moves in fighting game history in 3 catagories: Projectiles, Beat Downs, and Grapples. Maybe we can gauge and see just how powerful the attacks are canon-wise.

There, define what you call a super?

a)Powerful special move (may have devastating effects, big damage etc but at cost of for example long recovery/startup) - may be very powerful canon-wise
b)Powerful special move that uses up a super gauge if game has one
c)Powerful special move that has some limitations on its use (like, once per round, or only on low health) but not necessarily needs a super gauge
d)An instant kill special move that ends the match if connects. May have its own limitations like useable only on last round vs low life opponent (samurai shodown 5 special) or sacrifices super gauge upon attempt (guilty gear series)

Aside of that, I highly suspect the talk here will revolve mainly about fighting game boss supers (usually most powerful), so for top Projectile super there goes Samurai Shodown 4’s boss Zankuro’s “Mugen-Ryuu Ougi: Mugen Hou” (Infinite Style Ougi: Infinite Blast). That produces a screen-height energy shockwave that travels whole screen, instantly kills airborne opponent, and deals real big damage on standing opponent. And CPU will use it on you whenever you jump.

Please stop posting.

Well if were talking about super powerful bosses…Here you go:

She’s gotta couple of OHK’s too.

hmmmm…
lets see, the attacks of Igniz are really a headache, so i vote for his super.
now, you are speaking powerful canon-wise, then i would have to say the Fatal KO’s from HNK, since they are suposed to be their most powerfull techniques

How we determine “most powerful”, by how many % of damage it deals? Then all the most powerful ones should be instant kills I suppose…
I suggest listing supers like

-Character who uses it
-Name of super
-How much damage it deals, %
-Misc notes (unblockable, has invincibility frames, etc)

Wasn’t this very thread made by someone else about two weeks ago?

Havent seen it, link please

Yes, I was right

Ah I remember that one, it turned into collection of videos of cool-looking supers. I liked Darun’s one

Go ahead and die, Liokaiser.
