For the people who get the ppads or sticks please if your gonna do anything with marvel vs capcom 2 dont do magneto cause its already been done or gonna be done by Magnetro. Unless you use him in a 2 character combo cause thats cool.

James Chen: If you ever wanna make Cammy combos again, let me know and we can work out a low-interest payment plan (assuming you have good credit). Otherwise you’re going to have to do all your Cammy combos in tournament matches and hope someone is filming. That’s way more difficult, and your time is worth more than that. My fee is a small price to pay for the convenience of making combos in your own home without having to worry about baiting your opponents into the right setups.

I just dont want it to turn into just the gods(Storm/Sentinel/Magneto/Cable) being used for combovideos like it is for regular play. I mean the gods have little stuff left to be seen but magneto has been done with a program pad in a 7 min combo video so please just because he is your favorite dont program combos for him because 99% of the stuff we already saw. Magentro did not claim the character I was just saying that he did the video and that he may have figured out 1 or 2 things since then.

Just wondering if there are emulators for MAME that let you program a move in? Forgot if this was mentioned on this thread.

At this point, Mars, Shinji, and me either have our sticks or they’re in the mail, and Masato-san/Amajin will be sending Eidrian and Toxy their sticks shortly in early March. That’s everybody who had expressed interest. :tup: If anybody new wants help tracking down / getting one of these sticks, please post in the new thread.
So totally randomly there are currently ~5 Hori Command Stick PS’s available for auction. :wow: I mentioned it in the new thread too, but this is such a bumper crop I’ll mention it here too so that nobody loses out.
I’m interested. How much will it cost for each? I’d like two.
For the ascii pad, I’ve paid 85 dollars,but since its auction it could be more, or less than that. But I’d figure around 170 at least. Which is not including command packs if you are getting the ascii pad/sticks.
So that $85, was that with shipping and everything!? I’m getting one of the command sticks from the next batch and wanted to figure out about how much it’s going to be with shipping and everything.

Auction Price and Shipping are variable. The average price will be around $100 for any programmable pad/stick, but I’ll try to get them cheaper where possible. I figured I’d ‘sell’/transfer to you the cheaper of the two Hori auctions, since it looks like one of those might go for amazingly cheap for whatever strange reason. If it’s only 500Y + fees: :wow:
Majestros- what kind? At this point there’s 4 Hori Command Stick PSs for sale and one ASCII Stick 3. I’ve entered bids on 2 blue Horis and the ASCII. If you want a red Hori or ALllllll the Horis (- Vega’s) lemme know so I can push money to Masato-san and have him make the bids. 
I’m down to pay $200 for two Hori Command Sticks. Are these things new or used? How do you know if they work well?
They’re most typically used, since they were released back in '98. We’ve oddly found a couple new ones, but for the most part expect used, and if it’s new, hey happy surprise.
The only problem I know we’ve found so far is that on Magnetro’s original ASCII pad (that he passed on to Eidrian) the LED was broken. Everything else should be fine, TMK.

was just reading this thread and noticed people wondering how the sonic boom,flashkick worked. Its funny that people didnt realize that fireball slowdown gives you tons of bonus charge time. Also about the glitches for random special moves, if you ever played arcade ww, you’d remember random flashkicks happening when walking forward. It was a cool thing to have happen especially when you could combo it with a sonic boom.
Graham - For the Flash Kicks, that certainly could have been the 512 glitch, but are you familiar with the free Flash Kick glitch? I don’t remember for sure, but think it’s done by throwing the opponent with Strong, then doing a Flash Kick before you recover from throw animation. After that you have a Flash Kick “stored”, and you can just hit kick any time to get a Flash Kick.
