" Tons of damage to report, moving to next area." - Zero Combo Thread

I got it! Now to make that work online! Never gonna happen!

You should practice it while charging buster. Best move in the game IMO.

That sounds like such a pain in the ass! I’ve already tried… which button should I hold? how do you keep it held? MUSCLE MEMORY!!!

Write down your combo. Any time you’re not pressing L in you you should hold L. Any time you need to press L, go back to the previous H button press and not to hold H there. Then when you press L again, hold L and then let go of H.

There are a couple combos you can use that don’t require you to switch what button you’re charging with, but it’s just a good idea in general to learn to charge buster and be comfortable with switching in case you have to.

It takes dedication.

You play pad or stick? If you play pad then use one of the bumper buttons for :l:. In general you want to hold down L attack because its the least needed one.

Don’t currently have the resources to test this, but…

Can this combo work subbing Dante-a for Mag-a? If not, could you make minor alterations for about the same effect?*

Stick. And :l: is a highly underrated button it can get you in quicker. Though I’m gonna try and learn to start with :m: just for a little while so I can get used to holding a button.

By the way I was playing the missions the other day and I wondered why it always demanded I use c.:h: before Shippuga.

It doesnt matter what button you hold as long as you can finish combos. I practice by doing dive kicks and alternating buttons. ex: hold L do a M dive and switch to M without shooting the buster, then do an H dive and switch to H without shooting the buster. <repeatx5> it helps me get accustomed to button switching.
The reason to use c.H before shippuga is because it leaves the opponent airborne so after you land the shippuga you can sneak in a s.L and continue the loop. Also c.H has an awesome hitbox and its -1 on block so its pretty difficult to punish. Check the beginning of the thread for more info.
