He is right about some of those things. Hip Hop did make nigga an internationally known word. Problem is that it didn’t really do a good job of similarly exporting the discussion behind it. It isn’t just white people that shouldn’t say it; hell there are blacks that don’t think blacks should say it. Its legally correct but a very shallow view on what’s going on with that word.
I dont care if my white & asian friends say nigga. We all know what time it is. Some of em got the juice. Its all dependent. But those are actually my Day 1 ride or die bros. And they are from the hood themselves. Cant really hold it against them in that case. But even then, they know when it is appropiate and when it isn’t and realize they have been granted special privileges. That said, Chet doesnt have the juice.
I done heard people of all races say nigga, I mean DJ Khaled is Arab and he says it. But I never see as Jimmy stated, Asians or any other race campaign hard to say nigga like white dudes do.
