Salty Runback was hype!!! A major thanks to the folks who donated to the toe-fu DOJO, we raised 100 dollars!!! congrats to the prize winners for donating and the winners of the ssf4(cambell) and mvc(rowtron) tournies. It was really cool to finally meet all the famed players that ive heard so much about, it was an honor :china: and finally major thanks to a mr. mikehascookies for setting up a great time for everyone! i will for sure be at the next srb! good luck at EVO NW!!! time to beast!

so, i just got word from the owner of the Golds Gym in Mukilteo that we could use the facility for a HUGE tournament!! i was hype when he okayd it, who would be down for this? i would run a AE. MvC and 3s tournament side by side. We could easily get 150+ people in. I was thinking call it wing night too… thats alot of chickens lol also, i wanted to make it a qualifier for NWM. top 3 get seeded and 1st get free entry to NWM( given brent is ok with it). let me know your thoughts.
I dunno about NWM qualifiers. I don’t think the skill level is really comparable in the different regions of the northwest to justify local/regional qualifiers. This would probably be the only qualifier which means one seed, and a mess of small pools. Qualifiers are for people from all over to test in so they don’t have to wear themselves out and gets randomed out of contention after travelling super far to compete when they’ve already proven themselves good enough to make it to the top.
It’s still worth asking Brent about though.
