I know what that feels like, i lost 1000 player points tonight and had to scratch out so many wins to get them back. However I truly believe that your play online could be best in the world and still lose to “lag perfect” scrubs. I see some people with 3-4k PP who absolutely are horrible and would go 0-2 in a local tourney.
I always hear you always talk about how garbage you are and how poor you play, but then you beast on people in tourneys. I’d like to see you once talk confidently about your play and see if that effects your play. Plus how do your claims to be “fraud” appear to me when you consistently place higher than me in tourneys . When I enter a match my mentality is that I’m gonna body this fool, regardless of past encounters or reputation. I remember when I started playing seriously about a year ago and wondered how I would ever beat people like Duggish, Bokkin, Tanaka, Cole, Ceramic and others. Now I can keep up with them and take sets occasionally.

To all DOJO members, i have been tossing around the idea of a extra long ssf4 “crack” session, the purpose is to grind hard before evo for all the folks going, we want to help them as much as possible.
when would work best for people?? and whos down?? my idea is we will play sf for 4-8hr bursts, then food orkung fu theater(DOJO movie) or both break then another 4-8 hr so on and so forth…
greg is it cool if i bring some1 tonight for marvel?

Hey Greg, sorry about the PS3 man. I was talking with my brother earlier and we had that exact problem with the PS3. I think you can try opening the PS3 to get rid of the dust from the fan, that might help. From what I heard, if there’s no yellow light on the PS3, it is just an overheating problem caused by debris in the fan.
i have been doing some research and that is the general consensus for this problem… thanks for the info sam! i will have to clean it out sooner than later. i cant go too long without playing my sf… at least i have 3s to hold me over till then lol. 3s tournament!!!

headband shit talking aside… I’m very concerned for the Toe-Fu Dojo’s technical issues.
As a regular of this venue I feel partially responsible for the equipment failure.
1st the Xbox going down, then the projector, now the PS3.
I know we have been donating with the intention of purchasing monitors, but I feel as though we need to help the Dojo out.
I know me and dustin have given money on a regular basis, but I can’t say the same about other attendants.
In the poker world when you win money you give a cut to the host, normally about 10-15% which works out to about $20-40
With the buyins in fighting games being much less I understand we can’t give that much, but I think $5-10 here and there would really help out.
I motion to let Greg use whatever money is in the donations to spend on repairing the PS3 and possibly purchasing a new/ used XBOX and copies of the necessary games and DLC.
I also would like see some people pitching in some money on a regular basis to help out with future issues or new equipment.
It hurts me to see the Toe-fu dojo’s spirits down when they are the only regular host for fighting game casuals in the Seattle area.
