This doesn’t work, the charging cord is basically just direct power into the battery pack/controller, no data is transmitted.

Well dayum. Then I’m still on the hunt for proper wired 360 pads.
Why not PS3 pads?
I’ve had some issues with the Sixaxis drivers before. That and the games I’m doing are not super user friendly when it comes to joystick inputs so 360 pads would be ideal. But PS3 pads could still work, I’d just have to test them tonight.
I have a few questions for tomorrow.
Is the street fighter tournament 2vs2?
Also do you guys have PS3 setups? I am borrowing a ps3 SE stick until my seimitsu replacement stick comes in.

tomorrow is zafos mystery game and a ssf4 round robin… the ssf4 2v2 tournament is week after next, plenty of time to find a partner. and yes we have one ps3 set up here for use. on that note.
