The idea is, #2 dosent challenge until he feels ready while fighting off others that want at the HBs. This I would hope would encourage and help #2 to level up until they have the oppourtunity and feel prepared to challenge #1.
If #2 loses he can participate in the round robin to regain the lost HB.
the owners of the HB will wear it while at the dojo the entire evening, then before departing will place the HB back on the swords.
#1 and #2 are not by any means required to come but challenges will be made at the dojo or via this thread and both #1 and #2 have 1 week to respond.
if #2 is in attendance, that person is required to accept a minimum of 4 challenges!!

ggs to everyone i played! thanks to kuenai for bringing a friend out! i woud like try to shift the focus here at the toefudojo toward more of a “grind session” as sir shredder calls them:china:. more of a focus on specific match ups, strong points, areas for improvement and more of an effort on everyones part including my own to facilitate true sparring, learning and leveling up. trying new techniques, re-enforcing positive reactions and eliminating wasteful movements(back sobat lol)
to name a few.
major thanks to kuenai for being a regularand really helping people level up by talking about the match after and giving tips.

Sounds awesome. Grind sessions are imperative to leveling up. Testing out punishes, option selects, and footsies/spacing is so important.
Also, is the iPod small and black?! :sad:

the ipod was left here saturday, its got a silver back if i remember correctly… its safe so no worries…
One thing I liked at shedder’s grind session was that one setup stays in the training mode all night and everyone must go there 3 times and be a dummy for someone 3 times.
Shredder also sheriffs this training and makes sure everyone gets there.
I got to try out lots of moves against characters I don’t regularly play and learned new character specific info to add to my notes.
I’m excited for next weeks tourney, especially since I can’t make the gameclucks tourney.
Also if u can get me the model number of the bulb I can get it for you, I’ve got a hook up on bulbs through work.
Prob won’t have it for next week though, but I checked the tracking info on my monitor and ill have it Wednesday.
just a heads up, we need people to bring ps3 sticks! so far we have 3 setups (including spammers) ready.

Sorry that I’ve been out of the loop for a while, midterms got me on lockdown. I’ll definately be there this Saturday though. I can bring my 360 again if you need it, but no monitor or anything unfortunately.
