I don’t bother pre-ordering comics. The local comic store here usually does a good job of getting them anyway. Heck, they even had SF #0 when it came out.

I was hoping they would get the summer special too, but no dice…

I go to A-1 Comics in Sacramento (actually Citrus Heights). Their Roseville store is god-like! They not only have a huge selection, but import soundtracks!!

All I’m waiting for now is the action figures…

And I’m still waiting…

(Crosses arms and taps foot, doing the best Sonic the Hedgehog impression I can) I’m waaaiiitiiiing…

Darkstalkers looks badass. Pyron looks mad hot. The art rocks for sure. Im deffinetly gonna cop that comic book. All hail udon!

time stop:
no.10 of the sf comic is 34 pages long without ads.
no.1 of astonish. xmen has 24 and the paper is hella piss thin.
someone hasn’t been reading the sf comics recently :wow:

Udon:
i hope you guys never ever use piss think newspaper like xmen  . i love the paper you guys use on the sf comics right now

Maybe, but Joss Whedon anything > Street Fighter. It may read faster, but damned if it isn’t worth every cent.

I never pre-order either, but I never have trouble getting issues (except the Summer Special, which I had to find online). As long as I come in on the ship day there are plenty of copies waiting. And I’m sure I’m not the only one getting them because even though they order a lot of them I usually don’t see any back issues for sale, just the current one.
I buy from Zanadu Comics in Seattle.

And believe me, if they stopped getting them in for any reason a lot of people here would be all over their asses.
